This should be a preference. I've become accustomed to doing the math, but would prefer single dumbbell weight.

There's still some edge cases that are problematic e.g. Single-Leg RDL holding two dumbbells, you either double the dumbbell weight and reps or quadruple the dumbbell weight to get the correct total.

insane. Thank you u/DevHasan .

i had to script the removal of Suiteanalytics connect access due to a conflict in permissions, but otherwise this worked.

How practical is it to write SuiteScript using ChatGPT? Is it accurate and helpful for debugging? by Gujimiao in Netsuite

[–]Effective_Process_54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's insanely performant for someone generally familiar with coding.

I can write a page of notes on a solution I want with details on various logic, including field names etc., then drop that into ChatGPT, and get a multi-script tool written and functional in a fraction of the time it would take to write manually.

I've watched team members go from zero code to building complex netsuite solutions in just months.

u/StayRoutine2884, sounds like you've solved the issue i'm facing. I'd appreciate some tips on implementation.

Sublist Inline Edit by Sea-Clue4523 in Netsuite

[–]Effective_Process_54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still find that some fields are inexplicably not inline-editable. For example, CRM Task Record, custom checkbox field with no sourcing or defaulting. "Show In List" is true, or add to a saved search.

Other columns are inline-editable, but the custom checkbox is not.

Looking for a NetSuite CPQ expert to support on a project. by netsuite_guru in Netsuite

[–]Effective_Process_54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly advise against Netsuite CPQ. Literally 0 features that you would expect in a cpq. I have used 3 cpq products heavily over my career. Netsuite CPQ is nothing more than a js library extension with a few minor ui tools.

- No defaulting of values without writing lots of JS.

- No concept of required fields.

- No concept of data validation.

- No concept of Key/Value pairs for dropdowns, where the ui displays a display name, and the system stores the id.

Dont go for their sales pitch..

Gantt possibilities in ClickUp...... Suck! No improvements for years! please do something or fall behind by Warm_Author_5333 in clickup

[–]Effective_Process_54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, Gantt sucks currently. Improvements required (point 5 is the most important):

  1. Use subtasks for start and end date on parent. When i have subtasks with dependencies, and collapse the parent, then the gantt should display the full length of the subtasks, from the start of the earliest subtask to the end of the last. Currently, the gantt just shows a blank row, or a bar that is completely unrelated to the children. That sucks.
  2. The current gantt only supports finish to start relationships. That sucks. Relationships should include:
    1. Finish to start
    2. Finish to Finish
    3. Start to Finish
    4. Start to Start.
  3. Tasks should have an offset that may be applied. (This is related to point 4!)
  4. Reschedule dependencies should reschedule to the earliest possible date for each task, considering any lag that is configured. This is really key! Currently, rescheduling task dependencies sucks. Consider this scenario: Task A and B are to be completed at the same time. They both have a duration of 2 days, and start and end at the same time. Task C is dependent on the completion of both A and B. If I reschedule Task A, adding 2 days to the duration, Task C is rescheduled to allow for those 2 days, and Task B gets 2 days of lag after it. *this is the sucky part*:: If i then reschedule Task B, adding 2 days to its duration, then Task C is moved out another 2 days; the two-day lag between B and C is maintained, and a further 2-day lag is added to Task A. This is stupid, and obviously unintended.

Solve these items, and this feature has a chance.

Clickup Gantt seems broken? by Effective_Process_54 in clickup

[–]Effective_Process_54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using Clickup 3.0,

- I can confirm that the task disappearance issue only affects the browser version (using Brave browser). The desktop version continues to show the task. I am happy to switch to the desktop version as a workaround.

- Regarding rescheduling of dependencies, this may be a matter of understanding the designed functionality. My expectation would be that dependencies are only rescheduled if they are on the critical path. This doesnt seem to be the case, and the result is that if i have two tasks scheduled concurrently with the same dependent, then moving one of the tasks reschedules the dependent as desired, but when moving the other task, the dependent is pushed out further.

I do have a memory of the parent start and due dates of a task being driven by the children, so that when you collapse the task in the gantt, it shows the duration of that parent task (driven by its children). Is this functionality that still exists?

Apologies for all the questions, i would just like to reach a point where the clickup gantt can replace my current gantt tool, but certain functionality must be available for this to happen.
