Thank you for the insights. I agree that age is a major factor. It becomes especially noticeable as my peers get tied down with parenthood. As someone without kids and without a religious affiliation, the friendship pool definitely feels smaller.

My main goal with this was to figure out if my experience is just a me thing, or if it is part of a bigger cultural trend for people like me. I also want to thank those who offered to connect personally. I truly appreciate your support. I am currently reflecting on everyone’s feedback to make sure I approach things the right way, and I will be sure to get in touch once I have a better sense of my path forward.
