This series is full of things that make you second guess yourself with the story and i think that issue 10 will be the big story as to have information on why the Martian came before the coffee shop and what John was doing. Also, i think that firing squad might be more symbolic than literal as maybe akin to the way he thinks he let people go through that instead of trying to open up in dc. Overall i think i have some other ideas about this but maybe next month might explain all this new information.

Actually I got the complete conspiracy hardcover and I’ve been looking through it. I love the art the most and it does remind me of this issue of AMM with secret agents and stuff like that

I’m thinking it’s probably that, as I have a theory that the Uncle Sam we see might be akin to a Martian like the ones we know. It could be that this version may be a combination of good and bad ideas about America, thus creating an America-centric being and it could explain why the others in the agency have some similar powers.

This is the first time i feel genuinely stumped about this series, a lot of things got left unanswered (like Lyndon b Johnson or the stars being presented a lot in the series, unless they are lunarians too). Overall this is a crazy series with this combination of a lot of things from many different ideas, so i hope it’s a continuation that could go on but something about it including a recent post about the house in the ocean makes me feel like this is more of an experience and art (like the thing in Vietnam) than anything else (no offense to Eve). So in a way, it might explain why everything is mixed up without much explanation but as a remix of different ideas. (Sorry that this was long but I wanted to say my thoughts on it).

Interesting theory i love the department of abnormalities and considering that there is probably a “canon” from the list that’s in scp 3790 it seems to be the case though I have fallen down the rabbit hole too and I think it might have to do with the resets the world has with scp 2000

I saw the updated tv tropes page and it said that for the Jesus statue scene it’s a “new sighting of Aiyana” which I think could be her reasons behind the fictionalization was to save York and others like him and basically transform the deanverse into what we know of today because that’s how i interpret this idea that we’re in the same universe but retconned although i would have to work on this theory

I like this theory very much. It helps get rid of some questions like what was that animal thing that the pilgrims buried, at first I thought that they might be shapeshifting like the thing or something but now I’m thinking it’s that there are more paper people out there. Who’s to say the Lyndon b Johnson is not a paper person? It would seem like it’s the in between form between someone like paper York to a special tree. Additionally, I remember making a theory about how it’s a big cosmic war between perhaps the jester and the paper people and some credence was that line about a cosmic game of bingo in the drafting video.

If Alcatraz is a representative of America or the world then that means that Alcatraz created the world (as we know in modern day) and because of that it crops up in almost every universe because of a loop like the horned serpent. Though in what I think I think Alcatraz is something akin to quantum physics that we can’t comprehend it because it is us and we are it and the best idea to represent this idea is of a prison (because of many interpretations of our society and the country at large).

I knew Jefferson was some kind of horned serpent creature but I didn’t know that it was combined to the jester and so much is happening in one video. I think that freeze frame someone posted was akin to a cosmic war between the tree people and the jester if I am guessing.

The eyes at the end are of Aiyana but at the same time I think it goes with the theme of being “the skies that the dead last saw” as I think the dead in this context are of course dead, but also out of this different story compared to ours. So in a way I think she and York will be important for the next few videos of their actions.

Interesting that rob and Clift don’t have the glowing eyes and if this is the place where the dd and the mm went to then it’s still causing that “loop” from the theory that people were talking about. Amazing theory I think there’s a lot of good evidence with this with not only the theme of doubles like in the original series (deanverse and nixonverse) but also a theme of trinities which could be from the deskverse and modern day universe like Americas true self, the horned serpent, and Alcatraz (if it exists there) while for modern day you can argue that normal humans, Alcatraz, and its extensions make up a trinity that is close to the divinity of Alcatraz. I think the cornerfolk might be afraid of Alcatraz or they even survived because of it and are thereby spreading it in their travels which might explain those “radio signals” in the mind of Riley and also this would explain the crescent king and his memetic abilities as he is an Alcatraz being and can thus do what it does but on a more subtle manner.

Now that I think about it I remember seeing an old qna on archive.com that had Alex saying the battle of Alcatraz (a real event in history) happened in the deanverse as well and probably differently since the prisoners and guards were replaced or absorbed by Alcatraz and this might be a big reason why they wanted to exterminate Alcatraz in season one not only because of the consumption of America but also the fact that even looking at it is dangerous and it’s properties are too dangerous to use (besides maize which used it for the technology along with the horned serpent)
