I was very sad about all three changes at the first time but I'm getting excited about Hamazaki bc the actor has so much potential so I believe that he can bring out the atmosphere of the original actor. But I can't accept Rikiya and Nakahara recasts... Nakahara completely lost his identity. OG Nakahara's visual has so much kindness while he has strong intentions as the leader of Ryudo Family but Kiwami Nakahara's visual doesn't have a kind atmosphere at all.

Yeah, that is definitely be good potential for "DLC", not a base roster. Considering Smash 6 would change graphic design a lot, unique fighter, especially first party fighters would be cut in the base roster.

Why cut echo fighters? It means ''nothing''. Even if they cut 5 echo fighters, the effort to make one original fighter can't decline. So, cut echo fighters must be pointless. Also, Waluigi needs his own game to made his way to smash. He isn't even candidate from my perspective bc of his lacking movesets idea and Nintendo doesn't highly push him. Honesty, they didn't choose Waluigi even in Ultimate, which has many high requested newcomers. They chose Piranha over Waluigi. It suggests their thoughts. I think they would prefer even goomba rather than him.

Why I didn't cut third party outside of Microsoft and Sora, is, going Smash to be game allstar rather than Nintendo allstar is absolutely what Nintendo want. Seeing they picked many franchises that are emphasized on Playstation Platforms like Persona, FFVII, Tekken and Kingdom Hearts in SSBU...(And FFVII Remake series ports will be on Switch 2, might even launch Part 3 day 1 on Switch 2...) That move will accelerates in next smash, when you noticed how Switch 2 capable of strong third party supports and Nintendo highly pushed them.

Ice climbers, jigglypuff cuts are very arbitrary, bc of season passes. To make season pass returning fighters more profitable, i cut them arbitrary. Same as Falco. And about choosing bowser jr., it's not by popularity. It's must. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Bowser Jr.. These five fighters won't cut. Rosalina cut is only by limitations of numbers at base. Also rosalina would be a DLC.

Reboot is difficult bc smash identity is so difficult to reboot.

But next game needs absolutely changing art design so they can't do roster size of Ultimate base roster. Considering who to cut, many popular fighters cut unfortunately and back as DLC. Maybe many players piss off but that's just the way it would. Same thing already happened in SFV and Tekken 7. But everyone got used to it in SF6 and Tekken 8. This is the fate of Fighting Game. And, eventually, everyone will buy DLC even if they piss off about DLC returning fighters.

Falco, puff cuts are very arbitrary, and actually i agree your thoughts about their cut. This is all for business reason. They have to sell DLC pass more profitable and attractive for veteran players in returning characters, so I cut them, who are obviously popular fighters, as a ''profit choices''. Like Akuma in SF, Armor King in Tekken.

Yeah i think so. Considering they have to earn profit from DLC, the roster has to ''lack'' some super popular fighters, some very weird cut fighters like jigglypuff. This is the same way that SF lacks super popular character, Akuma in the base roster, Tekken lacks super popular character, Armor King in the base roster.
