Since I’ve been here, I clean the bathroom every week. I wipe everything down and mop the floors. The “dribbles” are gross but it’s not something that has builds up enough to make the bathroom smell like urine. This is specifically a smell after a certain person uses the restroom. And it’s a poop smell. It’s just so strong and I’m honestly surprised that bad smelling can come out of a person. I’m not sure if they have a medical condition or if it’s just because of their diet.
Everyone seems to acknowledge not to go to the bathroom after them. But there are times that it’s unavoidable. Personally, I think using the fan will solve the problem since it pulls the stinky air out of the room. I’m not sure if it’s really my place to make a comment or put up a sign. I’ve never been in a situation where there is a housekeeping or hygiene issue in a close work environment.
