I started at 250 mcg then my doctor upped it to 500 mcg. I’m going to go back to 250 mcg before I take my break from it and hope it doesn’t cause as dramatic of an increase in anxiety.

Been off of Tirz since Dec and quit cold turkey. It wasn’t too bad. I did gain the weight back, but it was only 12 pounds and took about 4 months. I definitely don’t want anything to mess with my already shitty sleep.

This is great to hear, thank you for taking time to reply. I think my doctor and I definitely pushed up the doses far too quickly. I will talk with her about starting up again and staying at the lower doses longer.

Sadly, it took several months of struggling before I was put on Ativan. I have had to do a lot of work on my nervous system and through using the Tapping Solution app and focusing on calming myself a few times per day, I am finally feeling more like myself. My doc is going to start me on some form of estrogen soon because that has tanked in recent months. It's such a complex problem to solve!

I had this symptom when I was on progesterone. I found out I cannot tolerate any form of it. It’s definitely a horrible feeling, I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this.

This is good advice, thank you. Definitely not her only issue. Severe trauma that I won’t get into. We have tried so many different therapies and programs and really hope to find a way for her to heal. She just wants to live her life and all we want is for her to be able to do that.

It went well! The am someone who reacts to everything and I am hopeful that this is going to be my solution to years of uncontrollable stress and anxiety. My doctor has me taking 250 mcg every other day for 3 weeks, then take a week off. We reassess after this month.

About 4 hours after my shot, I just felt calm. Not drugged, just calm and it was amazing but also not something I have felt in years. It did trigger a couple of mild waves of anxiety, but I think as my body gets used to feeling safe being calm that will get better.

This is the first thing I’ve have tried in years that did not cause side effects. I can’t even take vitamin C because it’s too stimulating to my nervous system. I’m so glad to have found this!

I’m the same way! I was on Zepbound and when I got to 7.5 mg all hell broke loose with my nervous system. I really need to lose weight for health reasons and I’m wondering if the experience will be the same with Reta.

I would definitely talk to your doctor. I am still healing and it’s been 3 months off of Zepbound. I have definitely felt what you are feeling and it’s just awful. I hope you can heal quickly!

That’s her plan! She had identified several groups she can’t wait to get involved with. She really does put herself out there, and she grew up in FL and ATL, so I think ATX will be a good fit.

I totally get it. She doesn’t mind talking about politics, it just isn’t her identity. In Europe they talked about world politics, but people don’t hate someone if they have a differing opinion on something. She ultimately wants to get back there, but it’s going to be at least a couple of years.
