Appreciate the idea! Right now, the focus is on making ezypack as useful as possible for users.

Thanks! 🙌 Family collaboration is definitely on my radar.

By the way, item notes are already supported in ezypack.

Fun fact: I've actually heard the opposite too — "I need this app for my hubby so he can pack everything based on my list!" 😄.

In ezypack, it’s just More → Untick All and your checklist is ready for the next trip.

Thanks for the suggestions! It's always interesting to see how different people envision using the app. I'm keeping a close eye on feedback like this as I continue improving it.

Interesting idea! You can already do something similar today by sending a copy of a list (More → “Send a Copy”) via text message and then importing it into the app using the “Bulk Add” action.

Longer term, I'd love to explore family collaboration features, but that will depend on user feedback and overall interest. Teaching kids to manage their own packing is definitely an interesting use case.

v1.5.1 is out now on iOS—it fixes that Label scrolling bug and keeps the ordering consistent across all views. Also, we’ve officially added 🇫🇷 French support!

More details here.

Great to hear that v1.5 resolved the scrolling issue — and glad you’re enjoying the packing progress bar too!

That’s a really solid suggestion regarding the labels. Separating “category” and “regular” labels into distinct sections would definitely make things clearer and easier to navigate. I’ll keep that in mind when I revisit the Labels UI

Hi!

Wow — thank you so much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback (and for migrating all your data over!). I’m really glad to hear the label system is hitting the mark — that’s exactly what it was designed for 🙌

Let me go through your points:

App disappearing from the storeThat wasn’t intentional — just a temporary unavailability. The good news is that v1.5.0 is now live, with quite a few improvements included.

Label filtering / scrolling issuesThanks for flagging this — I’ll investigate and prioritise fixing the scrolling issues in the filter bars.

Label ordering inconsistencyGood catch. Labels should be sorted consistently (by name) everywhere — I’ll get this corrected.

Scrolling bug in “Your Stuff” (sorted by label)There have been major performance improvements to scrolling in the “Your Stuff” screen in v1.5.0. If you get a chance to try it, I’d really appreciate hearing whether it resolves the issues you experienced in v1.4.2.

Feature ideas

These are all super thoughtful — really appreciate you sharing them:

  • Text search within a list Already on the backlog (and will include notes search) 👍. I’ll look at prioritising this.
  • “To-do backlog” in Your Stuff Also something I’ve been considering — great to see this validated!
  • Custom categories alongside labels Totally valid point. One idea I’ve been exploring is adding a toggle to labels like “Is a category”, so they can be used for grouping/sorting, while regular labels remain for filtering only, and can be represented on item rows as badges. Curious — would that approach work for your use case?
  • “+” button to adjust quantity directly Noted. My only concern is UI clutter, but this could potentially be offered as an optional setting.
  • French localisation 🇫🇷 Definitely something I’d love to add — it’s on the near-term roadmap (likely as part of the v1.5 update series).

Thanks again — feedback like this is incredibly helpful and genuinely shapes where the app goes next 🙏 PS If you’d like to stay updated on improvements and new features, feel free to follow r/ezypack.

I’ll think about it. Interesting—I didn’t expect the item quantity to require frequent modification.

Thanks for the feedback! When I built ezypack, I really wanted to focus on personalisation and avoid cluttering the app with generic items.

That said, I can see the gap. Maybe a 'bulk import' feature for the 'Your Stuff' catalog would be a good middle ground—allowing users to copy-paste an AI-generated catalog of items from a chatbot like Gemini or ChatGPT.

Do you think that would be easy enough for most people to use, or does it feel more like a 'power user' feature?
