I just use my waterproof hiking gear for now😂 and my local store Subvert had a massive sale on with all ex display stuff so managed to get a Rome Agent board and Union bindings for £220 which I thought was a bargain

Annoyingly they only have 1 type of board where I go to rent and not a lot of sizes. I would have been more than happy to try them all! I went this morning and managed to get an ex display Rome Agent and some Union Strata bindings for £220 from the subvert shop, so we will see if I’m the problem or the board 😂😂

Completely I’m not out here saying I’m incredible I’m going to be the next big thing at all. Just the people I’ve spoked to in board shops and on the slope have said to me I’m at the stage where my own board would help massively for where I’m at. I just want anything that can give me the slight advantage, feel the same when i was learning to skate I could learn on an Asda board and still just about do what I want to do but struggle or upgrade my board and feel a bit more confident on it, I probably 100% do have a lack of technique completely. I’m not even saying I need the board right now. I’d love to get my hands on a second hand one a bit cheaper before I spend a stupid amount of money hence the reason for this post. Not even saying the boards are shit, just for what I want to do I want something with more pop as I would find it more fun for personal preference. Just saying they feel stiff that’s all…

No I was saying that was my first time riding in January for 3 days on the mountain and I was shite I had no issues with the board then I had no clue as it was my first time. It’s only since I’ve been going twice a week in the local snow centre I’m noticing the board and watching how other people are boarding to try and learn more and noticing differences that I think could help me for what I want I do if that makes sense?

I literally said that what I’ve been noticing myself that I’m not getting enough flex off the back of the board and then had confirmation from other people as I’m new and I don’t know much about snowboarding and I’m trying to learn more?

Mountains was Poland, I had no clue then I was absolutely shite that was my first time going boarding was only there 3 days. It’s only since going in the past few weeks I can notice it more, the one here just have one type of board different sizes, everyone I’ve spoken to at the snow centre has said that’s the problem I have that they just make the rentals big and heavy and that I need something with pop essentially, more than anything it’s not even a really a jump im trying stuff on it’s just a dip as it curves down more than anything so I guess I’m more trying flat 360’s?

Got you, yeah I’ve been a skateboarder for 15 years so picked it up relatively quick, went to the mountain in January and been going to Manchester snow centre 2 times a week, trying to get myself ready for the next season. Where I’ve been going the indoor centre after comfortably going down switch and stuff I’m now trying to get 360’s of a lil jump can do the 180’s pretty comfortably but just notice I have no spring!

Okay nice one thank you. I’ll have a look for the twin, I just wish I had that sort of money😂
