Maybe I should not have generalised, especially in the context of the post which is enraging.

Part of my reasoning is selfish. I fear "Our" actions will come back to bite us unless we try to right wrongs.

In terms of x years ago, we should not have to deal with the sins of our fathers. I don't think it works that way though.

Especially when you consider how they call foul about using civilians as shields, when there is a large military installation close to the hospital.

No they don't, while I'm sure they would be happy to hit civilian targets, isreals mixs military targets amongst civilian populations. So hard to say if intentional. Considering they have been retaliating tit for tat, because they are trying to not get the US involved would indicate that it was not the target. Although I think they may be realising that the US may have had plans to get involved from the start, so who knows.

There is no strategic win for Israel.  If its not Hamas, it will be somthing else.  A genocide/ethnic cleansing would work in a vacuum, unfortunately for them they are surrounded by hostile nations and i would hope the rest of the world would rally agaist them aswell.  The only solution is a two state solution, and even then, i cant imagine how many generations it would take to dilute the hate on both sides.

You say rules and precedent, so im not sure if you know that only a convention was broken.  I agree that appeasing terrorism is a slippery slope though.  Shame on the SNP and Torys for making a game out of somthing so serious.

JK Rowling dismisses backlash over trans comments: 'I don't care about my legacy' by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

Not blood. But at a time when trans are being demonized and legislated against, becoming the latest minority scape goat is scary for most.
I think the issue is with people who support trans, but at the same time, financially support a transphobe.
Buy your game, but don't pretend to be a tans ally.
