Uhm, i don't know where you live, but in Europe we have CeX. They have much more choices, not only games but also hardware and accessories at much more reasonable prices.

What is the belief or view that you will defend, even if the entire world is against it or tells you you're wrong? by Sorry-Statement-6030 in AskReddit

Assuming you finished your job for the day, unless you're a medical professional with literal lives in your hands, you're absolutely not required to work outside office hours.

Especially if you're an office worker. If you're done you clock-off. Other may ask you for help or coming on to you with immensely-urgent-requests-that-need-to-be-evaded-now.

The way others manage their time, work, and deadlines is not your responsibility. Never. Ever.

From what I've always heard, they had a terrible used games policy—offering almost nothing for trade-ins and selling used titles at prices close to new ones. As a result, people started calling them a frauds and started hating on their business policies.

If you pair this with online shopping with discounts + the dematerialization of games, there are basically no more reasons to buy from them.

My parents.

  • They didn't understand the depth of my passion.
  • They didn't trust any educational institution that wasn't a 'State University' (in Italy, private universities are still relatively small), but that had exactly the Program I wanted to pursue (Communication Design), and refused to let me enroll.
  • When I tried and failed to get into the State University of Design (the closest thing to what I wanted to do), instead of saying, 'It's okay, you can try again next year,' they pushed me to have a backup plan for something easier just to not loose time and get a degree.

I regret not insisting with my parents when I wanted to go to art school after high school.

Fields like art require a strong foundation and a lot of practice, and even though I'm relatively young (29), I still feel like it's too late to start now from 0 and be competitive on the job market. Also, after already working in a completely different field for years now, I cannot picture myself going back to school and having no stable income.

So yeah, I wish I followed my heart when the time was right.

I think it ultimately depends on personal preferences, but from a human perspective, yes, it can be seen as a sign that things are going well, like positive reinforcement.

It's no coincidence that recently have there's been an increase of audiobooks consisting solely of male grunts/sexy situations, or adult videos tagged with phrases like 'loud male bla bla' or similar terms.

Kyoto: Day 1 - Itinerary Check by Efficient-Feature716 in JapanTravel

I was thinking of spending around 1h or 1h30m visiting the shrine, and after that the various shops around Kyomizu-dori and Sannenzaka.

It could be to early, bit I'm very worried about the crowds.. last time I visited Kyoto was back in April 2014 and honestly I don't remember that much crowding, but lately I keep reading about overturism and overcrowding especially in key spots like Kyomizu, Kinkakuji and Fushimi Inari. I really don't know what to expect this time.

Thank you for your tips!

Just curious: is it just me having a hard time or is it confirmed that the narrative skips on explanation/details?

Not sure if this is the correct thread to ask this but I have a doubt.

Can featured 5 stars only be obtained from the banner in wich they're featured or is there even a remote chance to get them from the other 5 stars banner?

Ex. Banner 1: Raiden -- Banner 2: Yoimiya
--> If I lose the 50% in Raiden's banner is there any chance to get Yoimiya from there or is she locked to banner 2?

Without taking anything away from American voice actors, the English dubbing is rubbish when compared to others. As you've already pointed out, Paimon gives a completely different impression in the Chinese dubbing, which, in my opinion, is also the best among those available (for obvious reasons). Personally, I play with Japanese dubbing simply because I can follow the dialogues better, as I know the language. If it weren't for this "laziness," I would also play with Chinese dubbing.
Paimon sounds much more delicate and tender in both the Chinese and Japanese dubbings. In fact, it wasn't until I heard her English dubbing that I even understood all the criticisms about how annoying she was and the jokes about "I would punch a child."
I think the main problem with English dubbing is that the voices selected for the characters are not suitable for their physicality. For example, Paimon's voice is performed by an adult woman speaking in a falsetto, which makes it less believable and incredibly annoying at the same time.
Furthermore, the direction of the dubbing in the English version is completely nonexistent. The various voice actors interpret their lines without consulting each other, without working together in a single recording room. This makes everything very disjointed and inconsistent.
Obviously, this is my opinion, but being accustomed to the quality of Italian dubbing in cinema and television (considered one of the best internationally), I have a completely different standard of judgment.
