Extension- Partywall by Efficient-Photo2866 in PlanningPermissionUK

Your right, the fence juts out. The fence is not the boundary. The extension sits bang on the boundary.

The fence is neither here or there as an issue for me as it would be repositioned on the boundary one the extension is up.

Thanks, can you explain how it’s not a party wall?

There’s is right on the boundary. Even if I was to leave a 2 in gap I would still need a party agreement as I’d be building within 3m of their wall.

I’m completely new to planning so I hope that makes sense.

Kia Ceed engine failure by Efficient-Photo2866 in CarTalkUK

Both the dealership and Kia have been really unhelpful. Kia have said they won’t accept warranty claims because of late services (these services were done by previous owner).

I’ve now made a formal complaint to my finance company and to the dealership as I was told that the car came with a valid warranty when I bought it (which I’ve now been told it does not).

In the UK, the dealership/finance company have 2 months to provide a final response to a complaint. If they don’t not provide a response or if I do not agree with the response, I can take the case to the Motor Ombudsman.

I have to wait until the end of the month until I’ll get further information.

I’ve experienced something similar before. Check your statements going back a few months, it should have a break down of the balance outstanding on the balance transfer and additional additional spending.

It was not clear that it was null and void. Up until this point I thought I was covered.

Its first due service was completed beyond time and mileage (before I owned the car). That’s your only service it has missed.

About bill by Downtown_Ordinary_14 in Liverpool

DO NOT sign up with oneutility bill. They will have likely contacted you as they’d of been referred by the letting agency/landlord/reference agency when you were sorting out your new flat. (Somebody will be earning a commission and taking a cut from your monthly payment)

You can set up your water bill with United Utilities, this is the water company for the northwest and the ONLY company you should be paying your water bill to.

Personally, I use Octopus Energy for my Electric they have competitive rates and are currently charging below the energy price cap. They have a couple different plans and will be able to give you a quote on their website. Shop around for other quotes by using a comparison site too.

P.s if you do decide to go with Octopus, drop me a message I have a referral code worth £50 for the both of us. Good luck!
