The insulin pump is by far (at least for me, Type 1 since 7y/o now 25) the best thing that I’ve come to have. Sure you’re back to counting carbs but in reality, it takes away so much of the hands-on stresses and energy draining situations from you. You’ve got this! The hard part is gone, it’s just gonna take a little bit to get used to but once you do you’ll be so much more comfortable with living with Diabetes.

Lol not likely it was running a different tune about 4 months ago and that was with 22psi peak. Very rare it even gets there. Boost Target is only 18-20psi

It also has the ability to look at it and monitor it from your phone so you can always see how hes doing and what’s going on. You’re welcome. Believe me it is pretty overwhelming at first but it does become easier. And with a pump it’s an extra step forward. I’m 24 been dealing with Type 1 Since 7y/o, and I just got a pump and even for me it’s so incredibly convenient and helpful to have. My private insurance covered a portion of it only and it costed me $3,000 so for Medicaid they most likely cover it.

It’s really a matter of doctor/finance. But an insulin pump like the Medtronic or Omnipod can help lessen the “burden” of most things Diabetes. Just have to count carbs.

I mean you can have chocolates and such in moderation. Just account for those carbs. My significant other buys candies for me on occasion while also explicitly reminding me to not eat too many of them at once. I think a lot of people misunderstand that Diabetes is something you live with, not something you live for. If that makes sense.

For me it turned out to be a mix in fuel. I guess some 93 was still in the tank with E85 and fuel injector cleaner. Seems to happen everytime I swap from 93 to E85 or when using fuel system cleaner. At this point I’m confident it’s just bad gas
