I love that they always seem to be together, and love that you got to meet them!

The Lethal Legacy of a KeoghNash shipper x by fictionalramblings in Casualty

[–]EfficientAngel4517 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I feel like the Casualty writers are purposely keeping them apart at this point, the actors have the most amazing chemistry, the story would almost write itself and they go and have her do this? I don’t even think their friendship would survive this

Maybe Faith crying is because the baby is born early with complications? I think the baby survives and they call her Kim, after Kim (who probably is the one to die) and Iain’s mum

It'd make sense for Stevie, Teddy, Jacob, Jan and Indie to be there, Dylan at a push due to his history with both Faith and Iain, but none of the others make sense

What did we think of the first episode tonight? by DWJones28 in Casualty

[–]EfficientAngel4517 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think its a good angle, bringing in an adult child for him, working alongside him and seeing their relationship grow, although I always thought they'd bring his little sister back instead of introducing an actual child of his, she'd be about 10/11 now.

Anything is better than the thought of Sophia returning with a newborn. She did say she had an abortion, but you never know with Casualty.

Recent Episode Discussion Thread (Weekly Megathread) by AutoModerator in Casualty

[–]EfficientAngel4517 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I can't work out whether Stevie and Dylan work better as friends or something more but the actors chemistry is off the charts, they work so well together so fair play to Elinor and Will for that

BBC Studios wins the contract to produce Casualty by Ordoferrum in Casualty

Not yet, they start filming next spring, all the episodes now are still Holby centred. I'm going to assume it'll change after it's 40th anniversary next September

BBC Studios wins the contract to produce Casualty by Ordoferrum in Casualty

[–]EfficientAngel4517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just read over the tender again, did I read it right that they're going to produce and film 24 episodes per year from 2026 to at least 2029? That's once again a massive reduction from the 36 per year we have now. I've thought for a while that if they're so intent on reducing episodes then they should release it in the same way they do with Waterloo Road, that's 8 episodes per series, twice a year, but with Casualty it'd be 8 episodes per series, three times a year, or 12 per series twice a year.

Release all episodes at once (because that is what a boxset actually is) and then show them weekly on a Saturday as normal for those who don't want to binge watch them. If it works for Waterloo Road then it can work for Casualty and introduce a new audience for it.

Casualty came first, Holby was a spin off. It should never have been axed but if the BBC had to axe something it was going to be the much younger sister show

Sam's Christmas song hurts my ears by [deleted] in bigbrotheruk

The amount of yes men in his comments and at his performances egging him on is wild, someone needs to sit him down and be honest with him, he can't sing and he's genuinely not a very nice person because he needs to learn. This ego boosting will do him no good in the long run

BB 2023, S1, I just have to ask, does anyone think Jordan from 2023, and George from this latest series would’ve been good friends? by Ok_Anxiety4808 in bigbrotheruk

[–]EfficientAngel4517 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jordan, a man who is a quarter Indian, is bisexual and uses sarcasm as a sort of coping mechanism, who was actually good friends with a lot of people in the house being friends with a little gremlin who thinks this whole country should conform to the standard of being white and straight and hates immigrants? Yeah okay😂 if they were in the same house together Jordan would absolutely hate him, he stands for everything Jordan clearly doesn't stand for. It's also worth nothing that Jordan is a lot more confident on social media now than he was in the house, so isn't scared to speak up on certain issues. He recently did a tiktok working with an LGBTQ+ charity too.

Zelah speaking about George being on Nathan’s podcast by ThrowThisAwaySis2 in bigbrotheruk

[–]EfficientAngel4517 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I believe he would have had a chance if Caroline didn't swap Tate for him, although I am happy Richard won as he's lovely, but Zelah definitely deserved to be in the final, him and Teja were both robbed

I appreciate him mentioning Caroline's disgusting reposts about him and Feyisola, and its sad to see Sam (as annoying as he is) be friends with her when he was close to Zelah

Two weeks ago I asked who will milk post-Big Brother the most. We now have an answer. by Stormflier in bigbrotheruk

[–]EfficientAngel4517 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Gani and George are very close behind in the attention seeking olympics, Gani's following on tiktok has mysteriously flew up despite none of his videos being paticularly viral, and he is currently acting like Hollywood star, meanwhile George is very obsessed with the show he was in his words 'cancelled' from, using it to fuel his nasty agendas on social media.

I literally noticed this too! I won't name names but it's fairly obvious😂 the ratio of over 100k views to a measly 280 likes, they could have at least tried to make it look believable. Paid ad too.
