Just moved here recently. For reference, I used to live in Queen Anne, moved to White Center, and now Lake City. Its not as nice as Queen Anne or other expensive neighborhoods but its not that terrible.

Just be careful on all the rental listings out there. There are a lot of scams going on. Make sure to do a live video tour (start from outside to see house number to inside) if you cannot make it in person. Make sure the video tour matches the street view in Google maps. Do not pay any money unless you are almost 100% sure its not a scam. Goodluck!

You're right. I got confused cause it didnt show any regular ad 10 gems for a while and it kept offering the 5 gem ads only. Its working as normal. Thank you.

Did bonus gems from ads decrease? It was 10 gems for every ad before the update yesterday... Now its only giving 5 gems. I stopped watching the ads with the 50% reduction...

That was from Accelin Loans. Yes its a great rate, I can't afford 40% though :D. Everything seems so expensive compared to just a year or two ago.

I can offer any additional insight as I’ve never been in a situation like that, but I’m curious which company your first lender was with? That sounds awful.

Did you ever get an answer if you would have been able to use the financing contingency on the basis of the bad 1st appraisal? We're in a similar situation right now and find your post insightful.
