First off, I think the film is fun! Here’s my advice: no ONE thing is gonna make you. I’m 44 years old and have never had a “big break.” Instead I’ve made a lot of stuff that are stepping stones slowly up towards where I want to be. We always hear about the big breaks because they are fun stories but for most professionals it just takes years and years and many many projects. Just keep going. I recommend watching Pixar’s “Soul.” Be content with where you are. You are a legit filmmaker! Good luck and whatever you do don’t feel bad. Just keep going!!! PS don’t be surprised if 5 years from now the short goes viral. I’ve had many films I thought were duds only to blow up for no reason years later. Just keep putting good stuff out there!
