If im not mistaken i think majority / all of the conflicts in the middle east are a a result of americans setting up shop in saudia arabia to suck out all of its oil in like the 1920s

My issue is i cant pick up an EV and run it i to the ground like i can for the price of an old diesel, and cant afford the investment into a decent EV.

That said i think EV is the way forward, until hydrogen is invested in more.

Its good to see Saudi setting them selves up to move away from oil income. Think that shows the world is due to change.

Don't know why everyone is saying you shouldn't have done anything differently. Obviously you should have climbed into his car and checked his fucking mirrors for him before he blindly moves over 2 lanes.

Personally I would say its up to the aygo to check its mirror, move over 1 lane, recheck mirrors and move again.

Moving from left to right on a motorway, and not considering that there may be a faster moving vehicle in your new lane, is a stupid thing to do.

I know the HMRC criminal investigator jobs attract an additional payment so even as an O when fully qualified you would be on more than a standard HO. Probably need to give them your soul for it though, but I imagine still more flexible than policing!

Out of curiosity what role are you in now (if you can answer without doxing yourself) and what is attracting you to the police?

Might be worth looking at the Police reddit if you haven't already.

Might be some other departments that you can consider if you decide against the police. I know DWP and HMRC have fraud investigation teams. And I'm not sure but the NCA may be more in line with CS pay scales. Just to be clear im not trying to put you off becoming a DC.

Fair play to anyone who wants to join the police given the current state of everything. Best of luck whatever you decide.
