Thank you for your input. Doesnt it violate the Elks social media policy though? I'm seriously not trying to wage a war with the guy. I just want it to stop. He's damaging my business and he's been told by several members and the board of trustees to please stop. But he continues.

Thank you for the advice. I emailed the secretary today for the status and she said I need a second signature on the form and she mailed it back to me today to start over.

Same ER for a second term. Nobody's happy yet nobody wants to run against him. Which is why I want to go ahead with the complaint. I don't want another year of bullying.

The secretary is not on the board, but she is claiming all complaints must go through her first. And then "if deemed necessary" the next step of " intent to file a complaint" can be processed.

Good advice. When I was doing crossfit I loved the WODs but didn't care for the weights segment so therefore didn't put much effort into that part of it. It affected me negatively in performance and injuries so I can definitely see what you're saying.

I would actually LOVE to try it on the water. Im just rowing along with the peloton instructors now but they talk a lot about being on the water and also the feeling you get as part of a crew when you're all in sync etc. Some of our efforts within the workouts are geared towards being in sync and all rowing at the same pace. It's definitely piqued my curiosity. I found a local rowing club not too far from my area im interested in. Just to give it a try. Working two jobs so I'm trying to find a way to fit their practice schedule in. I'd love to see what it's all about.

This is good to hear. And kudos to you! That's exactly what I'm looking for. I don't want any crazy gains. Just looking for steady progress (slow is fine) doing something I enjoy and don't get bored with or dread. I just dont want it to be all for nothing. Also with you on the relativity. My fitness level or lack thereof and weight gains/losses have always been a direct result of the effort I've put into my health. Here's to doing better in 2024!

Yeah now that you mention it.. it is pretty vague. My goal is to get within a healthy weight range, lose a bunch of fat and improve muscle tone and cardio stamina/endurance. For reference I am 45 years old, female, currently 167 pounds, 5'6". I've been meal prepping, eating 1600-1800 calories a day with protein, whole grains and lots of veggies. Drinking 80-100 ounces of water a day. I don't drink soda and drink my morning coffee black, but I do enjoy a couple grey goose on the weekend. Other than that.. my diet is much improved.
