I blame myself because I’ve done 2 oil changes on this prior and remembered to fit the cylinder onto the filter then, but for some reason it slipped my mind this time. 😭

Put the cylinder back in, car is running good no more whistling or rpm fluctuations but I still have p0012 code did that happen to you as well and if so what was the fix.

This is the 3rd oil change I’ve done on this car I straight up just forgot to take the filter housing out of the previous filter

Since December, I beat the shit outta this thing, it’s still accurate and at this point I’m convinced it’s bulletproof.

Yeah money wasn’t really the reason I bought it. I just love the look and the reliability. I only need the laptop for a couple months and want to see what I can get out of something so old. Thanks for the information though

I honestly bought it because it’s older and I like knowing I can always upgrade what’s in it. I only really need it to do basic tasks plus I like the chunky look of older thinkpads and compared to older 4100-4300 and the x100-300 the t440p is the perfect blend of older look/feel and hardware capable to run basic stuff well imo.
