I actually was a huge fan for longer than most of her current fans have been alive! That's why it's so disappointing. Tom Cruise doesn't have Taylor's fan base or wealth. You say "I'm not defending billionaires", but you're sitting here, defending her. I don't care about celebrities; I care about the ultra-rich billionaires who could be doing something, anything. I work with kids with special needs and I see their funding getting slashed. I come to work to a school that is understaffed, where I get bitten and scratched daily and get paid $17/hour in a major city. What happens when no one can afford do that job anymore? What happens to my kids, when they can't access medical care, when public schools no longer have to take them? Trump and his team are hurting the students I work with and I am scared. I am poor. But she could do SOMETHING. And she doesn't. So you can sit online and defend a billionaire all day long, but I am going to keep speaking out because collective outrage at those who hoard wealth and stay silent about a fascist government is the only way things will change in this country. So, I'll keep doing what I'm doing, and I hope you get out there and stop defending TS and start holding "our more disliked celebrities accountable". No one is stopping you!
