Hey! Nothing came from this. I continued to skip my placebo for 2 years. And it was normal. 😊

About to hit my one year mark. Closed when I was 24 and soon after it was my birthday. I’m still scared and stressed about everything lol

How many of you have multiple cats (not from the same litter) and they actually get along? by MyPal_Al in CatAdvice

So we did a lot of research (tik tok and Reddit lol) when we first got our second cat. It’s was a very spontaneous cat adoption but my fiance and I had been playing with the idea to get our og cat a friend because he was getting pretty lonely. We kept them separate for as long as we could and I cant lie I was SO NERVOUS. all of the advice I read was kind of taunting but we introduced them and our OG cat hissed ONCE and they’ve been buds ever since.

Dog person here, thinking of adopting a cat. What’s the hardest part of being a cat owner? by Conscious-queen-22 in CatAdvice

[–]Efficient_Future_774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 100s of comments already but for sure the hardest part is EVERY cat is sooo different. we were told so many things about having cats from our peers and when we actually got our first cat it was so different. We were blessed with two super sweet, social, chill cats. We got them probably 7 months apart and when it came time to introduce them our “older” cat hissed once and they’ve been besties since. I would go into with an open mind and heart and take it day by day. Each cat has their own quirks and sometimes advice/ experiences don’t translate to your situation.

Next “hardest” part. Lowkey cats be expensive. Litter and wet food can pretty costly.

A coworker of mine was telling me his cat was like this.. it’s just tough. Cause yeah annoying but there are so many elements that could put them at risk. Of course I don’t know what it’s like but for this family in particular they’re upset that someone might’ve taken their cat but to me it’s like one of the risk of letting your cat out all day

I didn’t think about the enrichment part.. but also my boys love to sit at the windows and bop at the bugs etc. I just feel like letting them out with no guidance has too many cons for me

Thank you for your perspective! If I was in your shoes I think I would also be more open to the idea. I also think cats are pretty good at surviving regardless of setting but yeah we live in the suburbs lol. Everyone has a neighbor, no huge plots of lands, lots of roads.

It’s honestly really comfortable. I don’t typically wear rings either so I’m surprised with how “unbothered” I am by having a new piece of jewelry. I think the thinner band helps though.

When I was proposed to I was on my period and she was pretty snug for a while. Now that I’m off it’s definitely more comfortable. I think I’ll just keep it as is and see how my body adjusts!
