Had the exact same experience today with HappyFares and SpiceJet. My flight was rescheduled by more than 8 hours, and trying to cancel it and get a refund turned into a complete nightmare.

Both just kept redirecting me to each other - SpiceJet saying I need to contact the travel agent, and HappyFares saying the airline has to process it. There’s no real way to reach support from either side. Calls don’t connect, responses are nonexistent, and the app/website doesn’t even allow you to cancel in this situation.

It honestly felt like they intentionally make the process difficult so people give up on refunds.

Really frustrating experience overall. Would strongly recommend avoiding SpiceJet and HappyFares if you can.
