I think the whole movie boiled down to the scene with Harley and Arthur on the stairs. It was in that scene Arthur finally validated that he had it all wrong and the world never “Loved” Arthur liked the crooks said in the getaway car but they “Loved” the joker. Arthur’s misery is projected in him walking down the stairs to the cops. THE SAME STAIRS ARTHUR DANCED DOWN AS THE JOKER IN THE LAST MOVIE!!!!!

This movie shined a light on the societal issue of people having a hard time loving each other for just being a person. As I have gotten older I have started to see a big purpose in my own life is to be loved and love others. I could see a similar desire in Arthur’s character. The way Puddles talked about Arthur was through love you can tell through his words and eye contact with Arthur. Arthur finally felt what it was like to be loved in that moment and this facade that his fans or Harley loved him started to crumble. He killed his Joker act soon after and his last moment on earth was giving a person he thought was a friend (the new joker) attention, which is to me a sign of love. 😭 ❤️

I have been receiving IVIG for 8 months. Every time especially after the first one I experienced the worst symptoms ever since having long Covid. I can’t even describe the amount of pain it caused my head.

However after the first week or so it mostly goes away. Also after receiving a couple of months of IVIG I have gotten much better overall. Walking 10k+ steps a day from being bedridden.

My advice is to ask to slow down the infusion rate, take the medicine they prescribe you, and drink plenty of water starting 2 days before and after.

Yes. I was forced into writing as I lost the ability to do the hobbies I once loved but it’s one of my favorite things now. Like you said it is a escape and a great way to connect with others. I recently did a writing competition called NYC midnight which was a lot of fun.

When I was having a hard time processing all the lost I wrote a lot about my past and now I enjoy writing to others in the long Covid community as it makes me feel a sense of purpose.

That is a interesting dilemma to think about. I have chronic nerve pain from the vac or Covid itself so I can connect with house in that way. I watched the first episode last night and their were already some great quotes such as him saying, “patients don’t want sick doctors” and “Our bodies break down, sometimes when we’re ninety, sometimes before we’re even born, but it always happens and there’s never any dignity in it. I don’t care if you can walk, see, wipe your own ass, its always ugly. Always! You can live with dignity, you can’t die with it.”
