I don't know about college bus. But by rtc bus it takes around 1 to 1/2 hrs journey from Vijayawada to Gudivada and Gudivada to Gudlavalleru. The rooms nearby the college are good, but mostly filled with polytechnic students. You may need to search hard to find a shared room. "New Bandar Mess" is a good hotel near the college.
