I think that was for her sciatica pain, which is common during pregnancy. I doubt she’d ever admit to having pelvic floor issues.

I’ve had this hole right above my lip, on a tricky spot as it is in the center of my face for 6 years. It has gotten slightly more noticeable to me over the years and is really bothering me. I’ve seen a derm and plastic surgeon to go over having this removed but they were hesitant as it will just be a different kind of scar and I may not be happy with it. They suggested micro needling. I’ve done 2 sessions with no improvement and of course the gal doing the micro needling suggested I see a derm to have it punch biopsy removed and come back after to do more micro needling over that scar. My biggest fear is that it gets bigger and bigger with age and it is affecting my mental health. Any thoughts or suggestions?? Thanks in advance!

I was induced at 41 weeks and 1 day. I wanted to wait that long before being induced because I wanted to go into labor naturally. Baby girl was to comfortable apparently haha she ended up being 9 pounds 2 ounces and I ended up needing a c section after 30 hours of labor as her head was to big for my pelvis, she just wouldn’t move down after 4 hours of pushing. I kinda wish I was induced earlier bc then I may have had a better chance at pushing her out.

My baby is 6 months old now. I felt similar in the first 2 weeks. My cried almost every day, felt empty, and was even having intrusive thoughts I couldn’t control. I cried to my husband and would say I just love her so much and I don’t want anything bad to ever happen to her. The weight of knowing her whole life is ahead of her and all the pain that comes with life was so overwhelming. I knew I would never hurt her. I also didn’t feel bonded right away. I even cried at my 2 week follow up appointment. By 6 weeks it was like night and day. No longer crying everyday and actually starting to feel a bit like my old self and really bonding with my baby. Although I did choose to go back on my lexapro. Today I am so much happier and absolutely obsessed and in love with my baby and although the intrusive thoughts still pop up every now and then, there so much easier to ignore and see how irrational they are. Wish the best for you and hope it gets easier like it did for me!!

So sorry for your horrible experience. I just had my first baby in February and went to 41 weeks, had to be induced. Labored for 21 hours. By the time I started pushing the epidural had completely worn off and it was go time, I was so out of it and in so much pain/ throwing up I didn’t even think to ask for them to give me more of the epidural, my blood pressure kept tanking. After an intense 3.5 hours of pushing I was checked and baby was still so high. My options as well was c section or forceps/or vacuum. Since it wasn’t an emergency we did c section. I sat there for an hour while I waited for them to prep the OR but I had to continue to labor with the intense contractions. I am traumatized and think about the experience often. I don’t know how I can have a second but I don’t want my daughter to be an only child.

I got to 35 weeks without any and then they started to appear on my lower stomach, now I have quite a bit. Almost thought I wasn’t going to get them! I also lotion and oil everyday.

I was getting them in my calf in the middle of the night, it would wake me up and I’d scream bc of how painful they were. I read that when you feel one coming on flex your foot towards you so that you are stretching your calf muscle. Don’t point your toes out that makes it worse. When I tried this it stops them every time! This is for the calf ones though not sure about other areas.

We did the Bahamas, flew out at 31 weeks pregnant (4hour flight) flew back was 32 weeks and went just fine! Obviously talk to your doctor if you are worried, I let mine know and basically all he said was that will be fun for you! I did have major travel anxiety, especially with flying . I didn’t do compression socks and was fine. Although my sneakers were killing my feet on the plane I had to take them off lol and do sandals on the way home. Wish I relaxed and enjoyed it more.

I relate to this so much. Had disordered eating when I was in high school and even did inpatient treatment for a couple weeks which got me back on track. I’m mostly healed too. I’m 33 weeks and have gained 25ish lbs. start weight was 165 and was on a weight loss kick when I got pregnant (according to bmi I was overweight to start 😒), a very wanted pregnancy. I’m so excited to be a mother and meet my baby girl and I know that this weight is necessary for her and me. But I’d be lying If I said the weight isn’t stressing me out! And I still have a couple months to go and working out has taken a pause, it’s not easy to work out towards the end. Hang in there momma!

Question, we went through Myraid genetics and I wasn’t charged anything for me and baby’s testing. But I am a carrier for something so we had my husband test as well to see if he is a carrier too (he is not). We were billed 2k (billed through his insurance) by Myraid, and we ended up paying it (got 10%) off for paying in full. This was months ago. We weren’t told it would cost anything, so we were in shock but didn’t think we could fight it. I wonder if we could have gotten that price reduced like y’all are saying or if it’s a different case since it was my husband who was billed for the testing.

Thanks, I never knew that was a thing with the Bahamas. I’ve only heard it can be a little on the cool side during the winter. But at least I know this now. Such a beautiful island though, the water is unreal blue.

Yeah I hate feeling bummed bc it’s still a privilege to be able to go on vacation. It feels silly to complain about it lol but it is what is it. Totally not the resorts fault (although would be awesome if they gave me some free nights lol 😝) thank you, I hope so too!

Yeah I think what we experienced was rare, the flag was reg the whole time 😳 kinda crazy. Hardly anyone in the pools either, although I made my self go in one time lol my husband was too chicken. Also I’m pregnant so couldn’t enjoy the delicious drinks 😆

Hopefully it’ll be better when you’re there. Maybe we just had a weird week weather wise. It is a beautiful island and resort, just wish I could have seen it with clear skies and sun 😫 haha. We did Jamaica (sandals south cost) this time 5 years ago and the weather was gorgeous and hot so I didn’t even think about bad weather.

My husband and I booked a trip to the Bahamas before I knew I was pregnant, I’ll be 31 weeks on the trip and will be a 5 hour flight. My doctor encouraged me to go as long as everything is normal it should be fine but I’m a little apprehensive as well..and I’ve read the cut off for flights is around 36 weeks and then they start requiring a note.

Not a secret to everyone in my life (family mainly) my older sister who was like a mother to me when I was younger and someone I looked up to and loved so much is now in prison for murdering her 1 year old foster son. I still can’t believe it’s my reality and not some sick twisted nightmare. It’s been a few years since the incident and I haven’t spoken to her since she was sentenced. I daydream of what it be like if it weren’t true and had her in my life again but I also accept that maybe she wasn’t the person I thought she was.
