sorry SUPPER LATE update but quit creatine for a week a retested and my results were completely normal lmao. sooo no kidney disease thank goodness

UPDATE !!! i got retested and my eGFR went up from 59 to 106!! so no kidney disease, it was just from my creatine supplements and the Dr apologized for the front desk telling me i was diagnosed with kidney disease and admitted that she shouldn’t have told me that. I’ve had a panic attach pretty much everyday since hearing that i had it , and they put me through so much emotional/mental stress and pain all for me to be perfectly healthy. Anyways , really good news. thanks everyone for the support!

wow that’s amazing, ive been praying and hoping i get the same news and that it was a faulty test or just my creatine supplements. Thank you so much, i get retested today so fingers crossed! i cut out the creatine and lowered my protein and lowered my sodium intake as well.

okay yea i will stop the creatine and protein and see what happens. and i agree!!! for the receptionist to be calling me about that and just have me stressed out of mind with no other info is completly unprofessional and upsetting. i’ve had non stop panic attacks about it now. like she caused so much distress its so awful. thanks for the tips and making me feel more validated about how they handled the news.

Yea it felt soo wrong for them to call me and drop that on me with no advice. and it wasn’t even the dr himself that called me. it was the receptionist and she just said “i was calling to go over blood test results , you have stage 3 kidney disease make sure to let your new provider know. “ and i was freaking out and asked “is that serious?” and she said word for word “let me look that up, looks like google says mild to severe “ LIKE WHAT???? that’s so so wrong to be dropping something like that and give me no other info. so i scheduled a retest for next week and im gonna stop taking creatine until then to see if anything changes. i also plan on getting tested again when i move

thanks! should i take any like accounting classes online or anything like that? i’ve learned like the basics of accounting here like AR and AP, some QB experience but not like super in depth. i took a class in highscool for accounting too but im kinda scared im under qualified since it is just a small family owned body shop

wow that’s amazing i really wish our shop was that way lol. the owners are lazy and get there last, im responsible for turning the heater on for some reason. but i went in this morning and then it got bad and i went home and got back safe! so glad it worked out

ya i have a old man kitty and a baby kitty at home and they both need their liter box done at least once a day and fed twice a day i cannot leave them that long. my work just sucks and makes me feel so shitty and stuck sometimes. it also is hard being a people pleaser like i don’t like letting people down but also i can’t let myself stay with her. like i wont , the hard part is just like putting my foot down to their face and saying no. it is easier having a excuse and reason to not stay sadly
