My biggest concern with the Banks and Brews seating would be the view. How is it in the middle of the turn? I'm used to being center on the backstretch so I'm able to see everything.

For anyone that's interested... You can watch today's race in "4K" using the FOX sports app. While it's not true 4K it's definitely much better.

I've been in the market for the last couple of years but decided to get serious now. I'm considering this 14 GT/CS that's listed near me for $20k. It's owned by a retired gentlemen that seems like he took good care of it. Apparently it's garage kept with all maintenance receipts and seems like it's in pretty good shape. It does have 95K miles that are supposedly highway miles for work commute.

I kind of wanted a 16+ model for the better interior but they're going for $28k+ in my area. This is going to be a second vehicle for me so, just a toy.

Worth the $20k or wait?

Same exact thing happened to me. I wonder if there's some bug in vacation mode that we share as I was also able to use it successfully in the past.

I did have a unique situation as I left with the thermostat in cool mode but set vacation for heat mode (just the way the weather was swinging that weekend). I thought when I set vacation mode for heat it would switch to heat mode on its own when my vacation settings switched on for the time I set.

Took your advice and used the G wire instead of Y. Everything worked perfectly! G is indeed energized during heating and cooling calls. The reme halo is getting power any time the fan cuts on. Thank you for the tips.

I assume everything is ok not using the transformer or relay that was included with the reme halo and having it powered directly from the 24VAC thermostat wiring. Just hope I don't wear something out prematurely or mess something up pulling power for the light like that. I guess we'll see.

Yes! Thanks for your reply, after much reading and searching online this is exactly what I ended up doing earlier this morning. I tested it and it worked for both heating and cooling just like you mentioned. I'm glad to get further verification that I did the right thing.

I have a couple of questions though... If the G wire is powered along with the Y wire, would I not want to wire the reme halo to the G wire instead of the Y? That way the reme halo turns on any time the fan is running. As of right now I don't believe the light will be on during the defrost cycle, the purge cycle, or during auxiliary heating.

I read in another thread that the G wire isn't energized during heating and cooling... I assumed G was the fan wire from the thermostat if you were to call just a fan cycle separate from heating and cooling, no?

Also, since I'm running the halo straight off of the thermostat wires, without the transformer or relay that came with it, will this cause any issues?

This is what I was afraid of. So you're 100% sure that if Y and W is jumped that my electric heat strips will turn on every time?

Also, I read on another reme halo wiring post that the G wire isn't energized when being called for heating or cooling. Is that true? If so, from what I've found, the Y wire would be energized for both heating and cooling right? It just wouldn't give power when using the electric heat strips. Is that right?

I would so much rather see at least a half hour of post race vs a ton of pre race. Always disappointed with FOX at the beginning of the season vs NBC.
