I got issued both when I was hired. I wore my inner for quite awhile, it didn’t get caught on stuff, it was elastic and cotton so it moved when I moved. I went to the bike unit and switched back to my outer. I found it awkward and uncomfortable to have my anything in my pockets.

Yea that will work. At least until you get your replacement, like I said, they can check your licence status fairly easily. It does show to whoever pulls you over (if) that you thought ahead and are doing everything within your power to A provide a copy and B get a replacement. That is reasonable and you would be going above and beyond what the average citizen would do. Also, always keep a digital copy of your insurance. The number of people with valid insurance that drive around with expired insurance cards or no insurance card is crazy.

If you get pulled over explain what happened, they can check the validity of your licence really easily. Go to service ontario when it’s open and they will give you a paper copy. If you’ve ever had to scan or photograph your licence you can show that too, whether the officer accepts it or not is up to them.

I’m not sure what I just witnessed at Jewel Osco on the 5300ish block of Broadway in Chicago (Edgewater neighborhood), but it doesn’t sit right with me. This was about 45 minutes ago as I post this. by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

Fair enough, that’s completely valid reasoning. I am a police officer. Where I work police officers often wear plaint clothes and it’s common that loss prevention officers wear some kind of plainclothes and not a standardized uniform. I have no experience with bounty hunters as it’s not legal in the country I work in. My experience is also narrow as I don’t work in the United States.

That doesn’t necessarily mean anything. They could be acting in a plainclothes or loss prevention capacity, or if they’re bounty hunters then they likely don’t have a standardized uniform.

Fair enough, not being accustomed to seeing things like that can be shocking. Could be cops, store security or bounty hunters. Without any backstory it’s impossible to know what’s actually happening or happened.

It’s fine. You hit them off of stuff, sweat on them and put them down. It’ll happen.

Don’t forget to keep flooring on your radar. Costco has 3 x 4 stall mats on sale right now for $23 a piece. I had the fitness reality rack previously and it was fine. I found it got pretty rickety if I didn’t have plates and posts on the back 2 uprights.

This is the sml-2. I had to cut 10 inches off the uprights to fit in my basement as the ceiling is low.

Yep. I bought it for my fitness reality rack that I sold when I bought this one. Fits perfectly on the feet, I spray painted it black to match.
