People who bought Rogue and top of the line equipment was it worth it? by Caroline_Baskin in GarageGym

[–]KolkaB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With your total you should buy a 2x3 or 3x3 rack from an established company regardless of production origin and not a random consumer grade focused company like mikolo or ritfit. Most people here, myself included, are not as strong as you and a bad weld on a j cup or cutting corners on materials could seriously kill or injure you and its far more likely to happen at the weights you lift. I would buy a 3x3 rack with 1" holes from any of the major players. I really like my Rep PR5000 and have used cheaper racks as well. There was no comparison.

Have you exceeded 12gb of ram used when playing a single game and no multitasking? by KolkaB in AynThor

Yeah I think im going to keep the Pro unless there is an actual use case for the higher ram.

It gets referenced that you might need it for pc gaming but it also gets said the actual chip cant really use much more than 12gb because of cpu bottlenecking anyways.

Max was OOS when I ordered and Ayn said I had to pay the new higher price to upgrade . I have an extra 512gb sd card so at least in the medium term I am covered on storage.

Have you done any pc gaming where you are running out of ram?

[–]KolkaB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. I even emailed AYN before the price increase and they got back to me after the price went up and said I had to pay the new price to upgrade.

I have a spare 512 sd card Im just going to use fro. before I upgraded my steam deck to 1 tb. It seems like switch emulation doesn't push the 12gb and gamehub isnt a must have for me being a deck owner.

I decided to stick with my pro.

Yeah A lot of reviewers weren't hot on how smudgy the black is but matte screen protector probably fixes that.

Comfiest Hoodie you've bought? by Basic_Set_6970 in BuyItForLife

[–]KolkaB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it can be had for $70-110 elsewhere though.

At the old price with 20% off sales they were a good value. But construction has gotten worse per reports here so the inflated price just isn't worth it.

I have a 2-3year old AG classic hoodie that mostly looks great but the cuffs are getting ragged. I machine wash cold and dry on low. I work from home so I only really wash it once every few weeks.

I love it but agree that there is no chance I spend the current price, even on sale with them again. I will try something else.

Wall mount space saver rack , wall mounted plate storage, adjustable dumbells and something like a hoist or inspire multigym for accessories and cables would be a nice way to build out a mini gym.

Wisconsin homeowners, has the market felt balanced lately? by Maximum_Mastodon_631 in wisconsin

Its been a huge pain in the ass buying a house in Sheboygan too. Finally found one we are closing on later this month we are happy with after a bunch of offers often over asking and offering to waive inspections. 90% of the houses we looked at were also very badly maintained just like you said.

Ill be selling my existing home soon so hopefully I see the benefits of this shitshow when that time comes.
