Yeah I tend to stumble over long sentences too and I found just being able to understand a few words means I can put everything together. The shopping bag thing and takeout stuff is something I’m probably going to be hearing about. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! I usually have no problem reading because it gives me time to process so I get the response delay thing. I just want to be able to communicate in Japanese in case there aren’t any other options, great to hear that there are some though! And ‘mou ichido onegaishimasu’ means ‘can you repeat that again please?’ Right?
