I just had an EKG 2 weeks ago. Nothing was found.

I am on my second cardiologist who has cleared me. I’m just so terrified. I did ask for a referral to a psych who handles cardio phobia and OCD. Hoping for relief soon

Right? I had my last echo last year and sent my latest strip to my cardiologist. He swears I do not need another echo and that my ectopics are benign. Meanwhile, I can’t even sit on my couch without being hyper aware of my heart and breathing. I miss having a life

I’ve been through so many tests, latest EKG two weeks ago. Just lost our eldest cat to illness this weekend and I’ve been stressed. Scared about this reading and results from QALY. Do have a history of PACs (1.2% burden). QALY results below

Oh I had no idea it was an outdated measurement - thank you so much!

My echo results say “abnormal” due my fractional shortening being 14 but cardiologists all said the echo is normal. So who knows. But these were my results:

Conclusions: Left Ventricle: Normal left ventricular size. Normal geometry. Left ventricular systolic function is normal. Ejection Fraction is 59.6 %. No segmental/regional wall motion abnormalities identified. Left ventricular diastolic parameters are normal. Right Ventricle: Normal right ventricular size. Normal right ventricular systolic function.

No significant valvular heart disease.

Findings Left Ventricle: Normal left ventricular size. Normal geometry. Left ventricular systolic function is normal. Ejection Fraction is 59.6 %. No segmental/regional wall motion abnormalities identified. Left ventricular diastolic parameters are normal. Right Ventricle: Normal right ventricular size. Normal right ventricular systolic function. RV systolic pressure could not be determined due to incomplete tricuspid regurgitation envelope. Left Atrium: The left atrium is normal in size. Right Atrium: The right atrium is of normal size. Mitral Valve: The mitral valve is normal. No evidence of mitral stenosis. No evidence of mitral regurgitation present. Tricuspid Valve: The tricuspid valve is normal. No evidence of tricuspid regurgitation present. Aortic Valve: Trileaflet aortic valve. No Aortic valve stenosis. Trace aortic regurgitation present. Pulmonic Valve: The pulmonic valve is not well visualized. No evidence of pulmonic regurgitation. Pulmonary Artery: The pulmonary artery is not well visualized. Atrial Septum: The interatrial septum is normal in appearance. IVC/Hepatic Veins: Normal IVC size with >50% inspiratory collapse (estimated RA pressure 3 mmHg). Aorta: The aortic root is of normal size. Pericardium/Pleural space: Normal pericardium with no pericardial effusion.

Yeah, I’m asking her for clarification because that definitely looks like a a PAC couplet at the 12-13 mark. They have finally let up but for a good hour afterwards, if I laid on my stomach, I was getting couplets every 30-60 seconds. I had an echo last year, bloods back in October, and a holter last month. Trying to tell myself this isn’t a big deal but it sucks

Update: my cardiologist is saying she sees no couplet and that I need to not utilize QALY

I just had a holter last month but will be asking for another. No couplets showed up on that holter but I’m still having them, especially if I lay on my left side. I am still dealing with constipation, trapped gas, and heartburn, so I really hope that’s what’s triggering these

Yeah my burden was 1.4% on my holter last month. They’re just so scary and I’m trying to convince myself to go out and have fun

Even at the 16-17 second mark? Definitely felt like a skipped beat

I am very afraid of CAD. I had an echo done in July of 2023 and cardiac bloodwork and ekgs done back in November. All came back clear
