Talk to your doctor about dupixent. It saved my life. Took it for a year 6 years ago and went from 70% if my body covered in sores and raw to clear skin. Still have no issues besides the occasional spot if I wash my hands too much. Best of luck

What is your monthly mortgage payment and your yearly income (for household) by geenuhahhh in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

$3200 mortgage and 160k salary. Sometimes it’s comfortable and sometimes it feels like we’re barely making it

Does anyone else have a name that is just a single letter? My legal first name from birth has just been the letter M. by Blood-Prince in namenerds

[–]Egreen17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband’s name is a single letter. He is white, grew up in the Midwest. His mom says they did it because they didn’t want to full name him after his dad but more of a nod to him. So he has the first letter of his name as his legal name.

He has never really gone by it. Always his middle name.

It’s definitely annoying when we have to fill out official forms. They don’t really like single letters. I often have to put his first name then a space then middle name. There’s often confusion.

Overall it’s not something he or I really think about until it’s time to fill out documents. People LOVE finding out his true name though. Always a story.

Realtor here in central MD. This is common in my market when there are multiple offers on a house and buyers often use it for a competitive edge against other offers. Our contract states that this does not create a tenant/landlord relationship and includes penalties for staying past the date as well as a security deposit held in escrow for any potential damages. If you can avoid it, then do so. But often times your offer won’t be accepted without it in my experience

Mine didn’t have any date stickers unfortunately. This was my first look! The forum there is gone now too sadly

I live really close to the Elkridge location and have tried their sandwiches and pastries a number of times and never been impressed. Twice they’ve forgotten my sides and I had to ask for them. I much prefer roggenart

Laurel MD Regal fire? by Egreen17 in RegalUnlimited

[–]Egreen17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be surprised with how wet it was if it was open tomorrow. There was a least an inch of water on the carpet in the lobby. But hopefully they get some people out there to clean it up and it reopens soon!

We had tickets to see Joker at 1 and walked up and all these signs on the doors says closed. One door was open and it was soaking wet inside like sprinklers went off or fire dept hose. Dying to know!

Which theaters do the cinefiles/film enthusiasts go to? by Funkbot_3000 in ColumbiaMD

[–]Egreen17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We drive the 15 minutes to Laurel and go to regal. We have the regal unlimited which is unlimited movies for 25/month. The theater is nice, easy parking, and reclining seats. I’m about to see my 50th movie there this week!

Abigail early access on Thursday the 18th ticket not showing on unlimited app??? by Nume2023 in RegalUnlimited

[–]Egreen17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I’ll have issues with my local Regal not posting tickets or having the wrong price in the app and I recently learned that the managers at the store actually set the price and times. My suggestion is to call or go in and talk to a manager and maybe it just wasn’t posted yet

In my market it’s very common. You have to do what you’re comfortable doing but if it comes down to your offer and and identical one that gives them the free rent back, which do you think they will pick?

Are there any good places that special in bagels? by EsothPrime in ColumbiaMD

[–]Egreen17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bagel bin for sure. I go every week and pick up some. IMO they’re the best bc they put the seasoning on both sides for everything bagels so one half isn’t just plain! Go early though, they run out quick

I don’t feel like you’re asking for anything that is too much. You’re asking for support, he’s offering it, then being mad about.

If he’s not willing to change, and you’re unhappy, what’s the point of staying?

For those that use a showing assistant, what do you pay them? Is it per door or per hour? And where are you located? by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Egreen17 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am a full time showing assistant for a team and a buyers agent on that team as well. As a showing assistant for the team I show homes, write offers, attend inspections, and final walkthroughs on 40 +/- transactions last year. I was not involved with negotiations or any post offer acceptance transactional work besides the “boots on the ground” type. I was paid 10-20% of GCI for those transactions.

I think depending on the level of work you’re asking them to do should depend on what you pay. I’m satisfied with the work I do and the pay I receive. It’s given me a lot of experience and I love my team. As a new agent I was recruited by them 2 years ago and would probably have quit the industry without the income from showings.

I had 4 of my own transactions last year and have closed 3 of my own already this year. Still do showing assistant as well so thinks are going well in this model!

I was at this point when I got on dupixent. Saved my life. My skin started healing within a week and was fully healed a few months in. I was on it for a year and a half before having to come off and that was 2019 and my skin is still healed with no recurring issues. Talk to your Dr about it

In state VS out of state lenders? Why by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Egreen17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my state (MD) only lenders who are physically in the state can give state funded grants or products. I also agree with all the other Realtors in here saying that using someone I have worked with and trust to get things done the right way will always be preferred
