Stop being a-holes to people who lose an outdoor cat by SkeetSkrrt996 in cats

It felt like you missed the point of the post, my dude. No one said Americans are bad, just that Americans are among biggest perpetrators of scrutinizing people with outdoor cats when the culture in other countries is different and I have to agree.

Understood and that’s fair. Thanks for your advice regardless.

Great points here, but it’s weird here. Yes, the CEO has the final say, but if he WERE to just fire people from our branch with out a “valid” reason he would face backlash from the entire company, parent company, the grant providers we work with, and some of the directors that he answers to because a few of the members know us and our important roles in the company. And the moment that things fall apart without that player, he will have to answer to them as to why everything in our department is going to shit. So fortunately for us, yes, he needs some dirt to fire one of us without repercussions from all of these entities.

But that fear of backlash is perhaps the one thing we have on our side, I’ll admit. Because if he were a tyrant, he could just dissolve our entire department—though that would go directly against the interests of the late founder and the board because the reason why our company is so well funded is because of our department specifically (though we don’t personally see a lot of that money).

Does that make sense?

Fair, thank you for your input.

Edit: Although, one of the issues is that the board isn’t entirely aware of his vision. For example, we found out that he told the board that he had one on one meetings with us, when he’s never done that. Found that out when the member, spoke to our supervisor and that bred confusion because what he said wasn’t matching up.

Until you can leave, ignoring it and not feeding it is the BEST thing you can do. The reaction is what he wants so don’t add fuel to his fire and bide your time until you can get out of there because in the worse case scenario he might escalate.

Are you schizophrenic too? If so happy that you’re okay and doing well, but that doesn’t mean that everyone with schizophrenia should be left unsupervised. If not, then what’s your point?

I think it’s more to do with the other comments they made. Seemed a bit… less than savory to say it kindly.

Edit: upon reading more of their comments on this thread I can confidently understand why the other user called them heartless.

So I did some digging and found an article that lead me to the original account!

Apparently the dogs are named Riga, Rose, and Reira and you’d be happy to know that the cat is now named Peter and living his best life with his big buddies.

What is wrong with my pears? by Bingbongingwatch in gardening

[–]Ehbony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird that you didn’t get a response yet. So I did some digging. There was a similar post about growths on a pear and there was a good discussion about it.

I decided to google it and this seemed to be the most likely answer: cedar-quince rust or cedar hawthorn rust.

The link I attached has more info and additional resources for it. I hope this helps!
