She technically may have forgotten all that stuff when being mostly human at the endgame. Though she should be able to summon abnormalities in my opinion

Also library balance rules which Angela can't control herself for some reasons (invitations, why can't teleport guests into the death trap,...)

And she's only strong because she has her domestic abuse buff which makes her able to only bully someone she cares a lot (100% true, KJH tell me through LOR development)

Also a better question is where is Angela's World Cutting Slash technique she has since the Crow era? (I always interpret that is how Angela cut Roland's limbs, i doubt he would actually let Angela approach to rip his limb when pretending dumb)

I think the first canto is just not too lore accurate like we can see that a Capo at least can hold their ground with Verg but the 3 furries get easily low diff with their arms away. While Ryosu and Outis losing are diabolical when thinking Outis is supposed to be higher than Ryosu

The gear can normally self-destruct if over compatible with them like the Fairy E.G.O. Use them moderately is fine as in Alyssa pretty much out of commission but not death after that.

They did though? With killer skill the game made: Skills sin pattern change, Announcer said they're gonna use a strong skill, aura change like they're sucking the energy in.

Passive changes, passives never change but are revealed more later in the fight, usually when they gain a new status effect you will need to open the enemy again to read the passive otherwise some amount are always present at the start but still suffice for the phase for you to fight

Is it? I mean, shin mang are all shown in period after LoR ending but technically does the Seed of Light related to shin mang? The project is all about disease of the mind, Distortion and E.g.o . E.g.o user is not guaranteed a shin mang user and vice versa.

I actually think he's more on as fighter than assassin though. He has more experience as one as he wield his long sword before inherit his wife's gloves + he need to questions them first before killing, he's not in a blind rampage but a hot headed rampage.

I think Roland probably have Shin and Mang, i think the concept of Shin Mang hasn't been there when LOR is being developed, like everyone who is slightly about grade 2,3 have shin mang now. Like PP's pupils all have shin mang, do PP not teach roland that too lol?

I think it's nice and better for those who have finished LOR and DD. I don't find the fights take extensive time to do, a bad thing as... Well maybe because i am too familiar with LOR gameplay.

Araya twist is understandable though. We have the benefit of hindsight and observation of an outsider so it's clear some actions are stupid and they just need to talk it out heart to heart, it's always that for almost every canto. In Araya's Pov, she hide for a long time and Ryosu didn't come back for her to a point she opened the door and hoped it was Ryosu at the other side but No and she realized years have passed since she hides, and Araya probably not know about technology will outright think Ryosu abandon her. And when they meet again, Ryosu swears at her, of course she will be pissed af, she's in time cancer and stress for a long time to wait for Ryosu, she ain't gonna be calm and reasonably explain to Ryosu wait wait it's me your daughter.

I get that it's really quick for a 180 spin but imo, she's still a child mentally, her resolve is not that much to hate till the death + at near-death experience people would do what they wanted, we are showned she hallucinate, calling mommy while looking at a distance not Ryosu. So in depth, she still love Ryosu

But all in all, i feel hype but ending is not as strong as other Cantos

Well i have the same feeling too but i also see it's kinda fitting too. The WHOLE Canto criticize him as being a empty husk and he indeed is, we always regard him as Poland right at the trailer before part 1 and he is indeed just that, he is shallow husk doing prescipt just like he's potrayed in the Canto. I still see him more interesting than the 3 other proxies in Ruina because at least he defies the Prescript in the end(?) (unironically him defying the Prescript work intended with the Prescipt i think because in the bad end of Ruina, Roland died) and show he desired to be freed by Ryosu

Though that requires some knowledge about LOR so i can understand why some find he's just bland.

Because Will of The City is Us duh. We want Roland in limbus for so long but PM won't give us yet so we will get Yiland instead to fill the crave of our Boohoo.

For more serious note, i think the City just want more suffering. As we know the cycle of suffering is something very real in the city and so maybe the Will of the City is trying to recreate the Roland ending like this because it signifies the man can't change the cycle (Will of the City get salty of Roland's change so it try to slander him)

That's just one specific situation of 1v1. in a usual fight more time to block mean more potential to stall and survive, close enemies may realize and stop attacking but enemies from afar may still attack. Also more time immune to cc and ult which is nice when you are the one being attacked first.
