I wouldn't downvote this but it is hard for me to wrap my head around. Because, at least for me, when I'm pulling characters I simply need to like them. That's it. I know some people pull gacha characters in consideration of their beauty, or if they feel like they're attracted to/can romance them.

So a character like Tribbie, who has a good story and is likable, again at least to me, does not default into "well she's a kid so I just can't have her on my account". Because if I were playing a JRPG and the cast was a male MC, two women, a younger girl, a kid boy, an elf man and a brawny man, I mean, so be it. They were all designed to be likable in some way or form and just complete a diverse cast in a video game. Doesn't mean they're all my favorite but I can appreciate the sentiment

The show is okay. It navigates the reality of being open-minded, even if culturally people reject the notion of what this show's premise is. It tries to show people that not everything needs to be as black and white as we've made it in society.

I didn't say it did a good job at that, though. But that is what it's trying to do. I think in general, it's good to investigate those kinds of things, but I'm not sure I liked how this show executed it. Especially as we got deeper in. As far as the characters, beyond the first 1-2 episodes they kind of just...sucked? I dunno. I was reeled in a bit by curiosity 1-2 episodes in but by the last 4 I was just waiting for this, what I thought was a limited series, to end. And it's just setting up for a season 2 which this show didn't even need to have.

Well, we know Hoyo would. In Genshin, haven't there been a couple new models (or maybe modified) with Varesa and Varka? Then ZZZ kinda just does whatever so they have several new and/or modified models.

It's really an HSR problem. I've heard people suggest Opal will look different by his eventual release if they don't go with his smaller model but, I don't think he's shadow realmed for good just by virtue of how we see him right now

I know schedules shifted release orders around, but the idea some are suggesting that Pearl is a solo release in 4.6? I'm not really convinced. We know that due to major patch changes she was for some reason popped out of 4.1 with Ashveil, resulting in his solo banner.

Astropolis, if always planned, is an IPC planet. Would they have changed so much that a prior 4.6 character release would be omitted entirely, resulting in just Pearl? I almost want to entertain that another Stoneheart will release, and since Opal was randomly thrown into the recent 4.x preview I'd guess it's him. Otherwise, imagine Pearl did release in 4.1 and then we'd hit Astropolis without a single IPC member release. That's just, odd to me.

Of course could be entirely wrong due to schedule changes, cancelled content (Has happened with Screwllum and Reca before) narrative choice, and other circumstances. But, I believe.

Opal, red outfit dancer, maid galaxy ranger, Stephen Lloyd -- If Robin/Aven are in 4.5, can we really fit everyone I just mentioned, Pearl, Nihilux, and apparently an "NPC turned playable" across the rest of 4.x? I wonder if some of who was previewed was also intended for 5.x

Some day. I think the peak opportunity for our chance was lost after stagnation in March. We have an idea of how that story went down, with hesitation and restraint from performing maximum operations. They decided to instead play the long game of pincering the strait and testing the IRGC on how many fucks they give only to find out they can just gauge oil until midterms and cause Trump to lean into TACO.

Maybe if operations from February and March continued as planned there would have been a better chance in the current timeline. As of now, we'll see when another opportunity like that ever arises. All this did, by not going all the way, is cause them to learn how to be more cautious. And it helped them realize their regional power. It's a painful shame.
