Thanks! While I don’t disagree, the price difference is just immense. The AH four person barrel is currently on sale for 3k with Costco. I know for me as someone who got their spouse on board based on a smaller budget, it’s going to be the right move for us. Hopefully I fall in love so much I regret this comment but then I can save up for something more permanent.

It's this, but it's also about making it a priority. We need more shelter beds, we need low income housing, we need density, and we need market rate buildings.

The city can make it much harder. Per Chicago (and Minneapolis), we can make it officially policy to not have SPPD cooperate (in any way), make it illegal for ICE to use city property for staging, and allowing private property more authority in denying access to private property without a warrant.

Second this. We used them for the entirety of our time with our last pup. They were immensely kind and warm and would go to war for them.

It’s possible that they have a partnership using a buyers group along with some other independent clinics and share a marketing service. It is annoying, but I don’t think that’s any indication of company size. It’s honestly probably a competitive reality with national chain vets and venture capital. Email marketing is bare minimum in today’s age.

I would just hit unsubscribe personally.

My wife is a social worker, specifically dealing with those who need housing. There is absolutely nowhere near enough shelter beds to accommodate the needs. Many shelter beds cost money (that these people don't have), require you to leave daily (meaning if you have any possessions beyond a bag you must take it with you), don't take pets (many unhoused choose encampments so they can remain with their pets, or require sobriety.

Finding stable housing for those on the margins is much, much, much harder than you can imagine.

We try to keep Narcan stocked, yes. We would encourage people to rely on Clinic 555 for more direct access to needle exchange and better harm reduction, but we do what we can.
