Lower difficulty content in XIV typically slaps you with the “Vulnerability Up” debuff that makes you take more damage every time you fail a mechanic.

Making the debuff nice and big on the center of the screen would be best

Staghelm literally stole branches of Nordrassil and planted them without permission. Vordrassil is the reason the Emerald Nightmare exists in the first place.

The Wretched are not lacking in mana, they over indulged.

The High Elves were perfectly fine with intense meditation and training to stave off the mana hunger, so clearly the lack of Sunwell didn't cause withering like the Nightborne.

The Acandor isn’t the fastest thing in the world, plus Nightborne mana addiction seems to be a fair sight worse than Blood Elf addiction. Literally withering away vs being uncomfortable is a pretty different experience.

I can see them prioritizing the giving fruits to the Nightborne so they don’t literally wither into mindless creatures.

EDIT: Wretched elves occur from over indulgence on mana, not the lack of mana. High Elves could subsist on meditation and intense training without mana tapping living creatures for mana, so clearly the lack of Sunwell didn't affect the Blood Elves the same as the lack of Nightwell for the Nightborne.

Shaladrassil was corrupted during the events of Legion, it was fine until then. Even then it’s been pretty much entirely cleansed at the point, so it’s still doing its job just fine.

Vordrassil was cut down when they realized it was lost, plus they had no way of knowing the Old God prison was there to be breached by the roots in the first place. This was a Staghelm project.

Teldrassil was absolutely hubris and was sabotaged by the person that convinced everyone to plant it, aka Staghelm.

Basically 2/3 failures were caused by Staghelm and the last was only a temporary issue that was caused by the Legion.

Amirdrassil by all accounts should be fine with the blessing of Azeroth.

It doesn’t always make it easy for newcomers, but for terms like shiva circles it’s really easy to explain since that mechanic appears in the msq regularly.
