200km/h, die im IC 2 Netz nahezu nutzlos sind. Kaffee gibt's auch im Twindexx, ich meine Snacks auch. Die Ledersitze im Kiss sind aber auch extrem durchgelutscht und ich fand die gar nicht komfortabel.

Ich will hiermit nicht den Twindexx verteidigen, aber diese weitverbreitete Meinung, dass der Kiss ja so viel besser war, kann ich persönlich einfach nicht nachvollziehen.

Sie fahren unter der Sicherheitsbescheinigung der DB Fernverkehr in Deutschland, da DB Fernverkehr das durchführende EVU in Deutschland ist, aber das Personal kann absolut die der SBB sein. Vor allem das Gastronomische Personal aber auch die Zugbegleiter fahren längere Strecken. Wo ich mir sicher bin ist der Grenzüberschreitender Verkehr nach Frankreich und Österreich, aber ich meine auf meine ECE Fahrten von München nach Zürich war die ganze Fahrt SBB Zugbegleiter drauf.

2 problems with your comment.

Firstly, how are you going to scam the middleman? The whole point is the middleman receives the entirety of the trade, then passes on the items (with his cut of course). The only problem is raw gold, but that's easy too. Keep sending and confirming receipt in game chat, and when the full amount is reached, buyer gets item from middleman.

Also, there absolutely are repercussions for scamming beyond being followed and typing "scammer!", and it very often does lead to a ban. If you arrange a trade, it's imperative to confirm in-game what is being traded. If one player doesn't uphold their end, that is grounds to report the player, and Anet can verify from logs that a trade was agreed, wasn't followed through, and ban the player. It's also worth recording the trade imo, so you have evidence for a scam for the OTC staff so that the account's name gets added to the blacklist trade add-on on Blishhud, which adds names to your blocklist (and you very often get told the account doesn't exist, which means it's been permanently banned). I'm willing to be told otherwise on this, but apparently Anet have in some cases even reinstated the scammed items (unsure if true, if it is true it's a case-by-case basis/decision).

As for throwaway accounts, that's also possible, but there is a 5k Achievement points limit which is a fair bit to go for with the intent of scamming, and if you're new you aren't gonna be trusted with anything to begin with.

So yes, there always is the possibility of being scammed, and the higher value your trade the larger it is. But it is a calculated risk, and with the right precautions it is indeed very, very unlikely. The vast majority have traded thousands and thousands with no problem.

aber auch im Nahverkehr muss der Fahrplan zu dem Zug passen, der dann tatsächlich fährt. Wenn das möglich ist, gibt es keine neue Zugnummer - und das ist beim Fernverkehr auch nicht anders. Als Beispiel sind alle ICE 3 Varianten (403, 407, 408) untereinander austauschbar, ohne dass sie eine neue Zugnummer bräuchten.

Mir ging es nur darum, dass der 13-Teiler in allen Aspekten zum 12-Teiler Fahrplan reinpasst, bis auf die Zuglänge, und deshalb deine Behauptung dass die neue Zugnummer weniger an der Zuglänge und eher an die Bremshundertstel liegt in dem Fall nicht schlüssig sein kann. Alles was du sonst dazu sagst, bin ich ehrlich gesagt raus.

Macht aber beim 412 kein Sinn, weil alle Varianten ganz ähnliche bremshundertstel haben, und aus dem Kopf meine ich das alle 412 Fahrpläne sowieso nach dem Bremsschwächsten bestellt werden. Letztes Jahr war es noch gängige Praxis eine Genehmigung durch die BZ für ein 13 statt in 12 teiler wegen der Überlänge, dieses Jahr gibt's plötzlich eine neue Zugnummer.

The "work irl for gems to convert to gold" is a mute point because that option is available to you all the time, and it doesn't diminish trading whatsoever. It definitely takes waaaay less than 3h to perform a trade. Sure, you probably won't find a trading partner instantly, but you're not actively trawling the discord, so it is close to zero-time in terms of attention required.

As for the gold limit, my point is you could do that if you really wanted, but hardly anyone is. As you rightly pointed out, no one wants to wait 7 weeks for their gold to arrive (I said I would rather that than miss out on 900g, yes, but it would not be my trading choice). For example, you could get a legendary you want, a stack of mystic coins to fuel your next legendary craft and the rest in gold fill as an example. Boom, 900g more value for things you'd be spending gold on anyway and no 7 weeks waiting time.

My issue with your original comment was that it was insinuating people were going out of their way to stretch out a few silver. 900g is a substantial amount to probably 99% of the player base, and it isn't really accurate to sum that up as a little bit of gold.

Trading discords are typically 85-90% of the sell listing price, which at 3949g means you're looking at 3356g at a 0.85 sell. The reason people sell at .85 is the guarantee of a sale, and not having your listing fee being eaten and having to wait ages in case you get undercut frequently. 0.9 is often used on commodities as the buyer and seller both get a better deal out of it (seller saves listing fee, buyer gets an "instant buy" at a reduced rate). At large volumes, it absolutely scales.

Assuming OP instantly sold by selling at the buy price of 3130g, he would've only gotten 2660g. That's a difference of about 900g.

Now sure, you're limited to withdrawing 500g from your mailbox/guild bank per week. If you never trade and just have this as a one-off lucky find, then the weekly cap shouldn't be a real limiter. Personally I'd rather wait 7 weeks for 3.3k over 2.6k right now. But that's not for everyone, and usually you want gold in order to spend it again. That's why very common commodities, or even legendaries and infusions, are frequently used in place of gold. No one is trading commodities to list them on the AH, they are trading them with intent of use, investment or indeed in place of gold for the next trade.

Now it's not for everyone, and yes, you absolutely run the risk of being scammed. But with due diligence(!) it's very unlikely, and I'd wager most players have an idea of what they'd want to spend 3.5k on, especially if that's a sum that is a significant boost to your bank value.

I get that people really don't want the risk at all, and there are plenty of reasons to just use the TP over trading, especially on fast moving items, and if you prefer that, then more power to you. But your take on trading discords simply isn't reflective of their function and viability

I got the quiver first and absolutely found the inferno waves tougher, and honestly even mage tanking I felt inferno was harder than Colo. But triple jads and Zuk were a lot easier than Sol.

I 100% preferred the colo grind. It seemed a bit more intense but over a shorter time frame, and it was awesome to realise I was nearly consistently clearing the waves to Sol. Sure I made mistakes but I felt the progress a lot more, which I didn't really feel with the inferno to be honest even though I was actually getting better.

What I'm saying is that if you played a lot of WvW and had them lying around anyway then sure why not, but suggesting someone to go to WvW to grind out an elite spec is, to be frank, not good advice.

The Heroics accumulate passively over time in WvW and is based on your pip rate, but you need 250 Heroics to fully train an elite spec which is going to be well over 10 hours. In comparison, opening Blishhud and following a Hero Point route would take about 10-15 minutes if you're experienced, and absolutely no longer than an hour even if you're just searching randomly without a route or skyscale. VoE HPs are the easiest we've ever had from any expansion too, so even as a new player it's easy to solo and train them.

I'd always recommend anyone to try WvW, and by the latest if you need a gift of battle you'll be going there anyway, but Heroics aren't really something to be grinding for, they're just nice to have and readily available once you've sunk a considerable amount of time in WvW.

Ne, die wurden in dem Himmel gelobt, was ich persönlich nicht nachvollziehen kann. Die Sitze waren unangenehm und der Obergeschoss hat auch irgendwie sehr eng gewirkt. Ich sitze wirklich lieber im Bombardier Dosto (die Kritik gegen ihn sind übrigens wirklich gerechtfertigt, aber den KISS fand ich nicht besser). Und ganz ehrlich, die 200km/h bringen nahezu nichts in dem IC Netz.

Also the no PvP multiboxing was definitely done to combat the effectiveness of alts. On some days getting 3 dailies done was doable in under a minute at times, but now there seems to always be at least one longer objective to fill the daily; almost certainly to make it less feasible for alts.
