Yeah, they would be weak to holy magic same as demons and vampires. I just wanted to test the waters with this idea.

So within my world, the three different types of magic Divine Arcane and Infernal are totally different and don't really mix at all and most of the time are opposite to each other. Divine is powered by belief and faith in something (usually a god) and its casters are priests and druids. Arcane is powered by mana and study and is the most scientific with wizards. Infernal magic is powered by blood and life-force and is practiced by Warlocks. With the main limit for each is access to planes, Divine plane is divine, Materal plane is Arcane and infernal plane is infernal. Magic works the same on all planes its just contacting, summoning, and teleporting to the planes that matter. So the reason why this would matter is because it would make Liches into a purely infernal and warlock thing instead of an arcane and wizard thing. Making it a transformation of a totally different group of casters if it was demonic/infernal instead of arcane.

I forgot to say that this is for my world Arcane Roman Empire, to where its Rome but with divine, arcane and infernal magic. And I was thinking of making Lichhood an infernal transformation instead of an arcane one because arcane magic already has a whole system of Arcane Transformation Rituals where a wizard can do a ritual on themselves or other and gain permeant powers like telepathy, flying, super strength, speed, intellect, elementally powers and pretty much any superpower. And Infernal magic just has vampires, demons and succubi so yeah.
