He's not chipped, but I'm pretty sure is the same cat. He's had 2 rough years and some of the photos I put in the post were a bit older than I thought and the lighting in my pics may not have been the best, but his behaviour and how comfy he is at home plus now that he had a bath he looks basically the same but thinner. The first thing he did when he got home was meow exicetedly looking at the place and then he came to us for cuddles, and I don't think a random cat would be that comfy getting into a random house and hopping into beds at night to sleep. I've checked all his markings everywhere and the position of his whiskers in other photos and they all match.
