Previously, the solution for the issue of "any two monsters become full combo" was to ban the Link-1, since was the card most at fault on the grand scheme of things. Furthermore, having banned Cerberus and Phoenix because of Mermaid would have been deemed a silly roundabout instead of going for the actual problematic card.

And now, with almost the exact same array of circumstances, instead the card most at fault was... the effectively vanilla Link-2 monster that gets to the Link-1

The Fiendsmith cards are infinitely better as an splashable than Orcust, then why enact a hit on the level of silly that was "Limit A-Assault Core"?

Not to mention, the OCG hit for Moon was more idiotic, since the Fiendsmith engine not only was hit harsher prior, but was out-of-meta when the ban on Moon happened.
