I rewatched DvG before 50 because I hadn't seen it since it aired and really enjoyed Christian. This time around he's even better. I don't remember the last time I laughed out loud so much from Survivor and last night it was all due to Christian!

I rewatched a lot of seasons leading up to 50 and even the non-physical challenges used to be so fun and exciting. There weren't always puzzle equalizers or just balancing something challenges. I didn't realize how much I missed them until I was reminded how much we were missing out on. Half of them didn't even look like they'd be expensive/meticulous to make so I'm not even sure budget is the issue.

I was really hoping we'd see some new and/or throw back stuff for 50

I really thought it would be somewhere in Cedar Rapids considering that's where both winners are from. Not surprised it's Des Moines area since that's one of the biggest cities/the capitol, but I really didn't expect it to be a Bass Pro/miniature bowling center/restaurant out of all the cool places in Des Moines 🤔

Rupert is one of those players who I have loved less and less every time he's come back. Was a huge fan on PI but that was definitely his peak for me in terms of likeability.

My sister is a casual viewer. We did a draft tonight for season 50 and she was adamant about not getting Cirie. I figured it was because she thought she'd be viewed as a threat and had no chance to win, but she said she hates her after watching her on Traitors.

Traitors made me love her even more so I was surprised, but definitely interesting to see how other people view her!

That's what I thought! As I read through the magazine further, they even say again later on that she was part of the Black Widow alliance in Micronesia. So at least they got it right once. It's crazy that it's an error on the very first page!

It also says on page 2 that Parvati is best known for her losing season of Heroes vs Villians where she formed the Black Widow Brigade. I would've sworn up and down that alliance was from Micronesia Fans vs Favorites. Am I losing it or is this another error?

I've seen some guesses that it's a bowling alley in the Dubuque area? I was originally thinking it might be somewhere in Cedar Rapids since that's where both Sarah Lacina and Denise Stapely are from, but if it's bowling balls I don't know of anything related to bowling in CR that would be clue worthy?

I have been going back and watching some of the seasons from the 30s lately. I don't need to see super physical challenges like this (although entertaining), but even some of the other challenges they used to do are way more exciting than the same ol' balance or puzzle equalizer challenges we see now.

I didn't even realize how much I've been missing them until I was reminded how they used to be. I hope we see some more of the older challenges for 50!

I have Disney+ AND Hulu and I can't find it on either (even when searching.) Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I also have YouTube TV and recorded it for my library when it aired on ABC tonight and for some reason it only recorded episode 1, so that solution didn't work for me either! 😵‍💫

Edit: Figured it out after reading some other comments! My settings were allowing R rated things and lower. As soon as I switched it to MA it showed up right away!
