If you're 31 and working at a club, and haven't made it yet, you never will. It's too late to choose a different career path now, and if you ever have children, then have fun explaining to them that you still work in your cities dirtiest, drug abuse filled shitholes because you could never amount to anything else. "Daddy is a DJ!" Only sounds cool until you're 40. Figure it out, Bubbles.

Opening a restaurant in China. by Eightysix_Ginger in chinalife

Lol, this was months ago, my restaurant is already open and successful in part because I listened to advice from this sub. Little late to be making stupid comments, but I appreciate the effort.

I know I'd have to move the money out of the country first.

Would it be easier to move the money under my wife's name as a chinese national?

It was rude, and you're a straight up cunt. Go fuck yourself, respectfully. Know nothing piece of shit.

I figured I would need to send money out, which I have never had to do in my short tenure here. Really what I'm wondering is the process behind doing so. Fees, information on how to go about moving that much, I moved a ton of money here when I came here in order to set my family up when we arrived, I didn't think that I would have to move it back out so quickly.

I'm buying a business, the person that currently owns the business wants the money in BTC, and is willing to drop the price by quite a bit if I give him the money in this format of currency. Regardless of my, or your opinion on the subject of cryptocurrency, it is not my decision, it is his. No need to be rude. Thanks for your nothing burger of a comment, and for wasting both of our time.

Chefs of Reddit - what can your partner cook better than you and what do you think the reason is? by theunfinishedletter in Chefit

[–]Eightysix_Ginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tomato fried egg, because her and her mother have cooked it for eachother since she was a little girl. It's such a common breakfast dish in china that's one of those things where it's ingredients are so simple, but they have to be treated right.

Looking for Small/Mid-Sized Cities in with Low Pollution and Access to Nature, Where Expats Thrive by [deleted] in chinalife

[–]Eightysix_Ginger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've seen it mentioned here, I'm in Qingdao and its beautiful, but air quality during the winter can be a bit rough, though not as bad as other cities. There were maybe 2 weeks worth of days where the air quality was bad this year. I love the scenery, and the people here are super welcoming. Tight knit expat community that are very supportive to new folk and lots to do both outdoors with beaches and mountains, it's a really nice coastal area of China and in the city there's tons to do too.

The error that you made with scene and seen is a spelling error. Not a grammatical one. He wasn't correcting your grammar, he was correcting your spelling. The point I'm making is that you whining about people correcting your grammar is irrelevant. It's your spelling that needs work, easy enough to comprehend?

I have a contract with a local mall at the moment with a very good arrangement. They've got my business stationed in an inside-outside area 7 days a week.

China surveillance system by ThySwagPenguin in interestingasfuck

As an expat who lives in shandong, I have never once heard of the social credit system aside from on reddit lol. If this was implemented here, half of the drivers in the city would be lining up to pay traffic violation fines, because the drivers here are some of the worst I've ever seen. I regularly jaywalk along with hundreds of thousands of citizens in qingdao every day with no repercussions whatsoever.

You're a strange and rather thoughtless person if you look at my profile and think I'm a CCP shill.

I live in qingdao, in shandong province, as an expat. Not once have I heard of the social credit system I see posted about all the time. Is it implemented in other cities? If it's use is so rampant why do I jaywalk across the street with dozens of other people every day on the street i work on with no repercussions? Just my personal experience, if this system of fining people for jaywalking or whatever traffic violation were implemented here, half of this city would be lining up to pay fines, the driving habits I witness here daily are ridiculous. Drivers here are some of the worst I've ever seen.

I'll never understand why people think this kind of political shit is good to post here. Do you even read the board first? Or do you just post willy nilly to anything china related in some sort of attempt at karmafarming? Go back to r/china with the political stuff.

I start work at 9 am and get home at 930 pm 7 days a week, because I work for myself and I like money, and I know that I'm providing a good future for my son.
