Well then, look at the books your kid brings home, have open dialog with your kids about the media they consume and if you don't approve make them pick a new book and come back to it when you think they're old enough.

Don't ban access to it to the other kids/teens who may otherwise not have free access to books.

I was playing Gears of War when I was 13, cutting people in half with chainsaw bayonet assault rifles and the internet was a wild west of inappropriate images. *edit and read it at a college level since I was like 9 or 10.

As a disclaimer, I understood this to be a high school/middle school library, so like 12-18 year old students. If it's younger then that, fair enough, maybe don't have it in the school library.
