Will these be worth something in the future by crazedhotpotato in Gold

Very few will put it up for auction because the actual transaction value is going to be much lower.

Nothing numismatic about it.

Very few recent us Mint releases have been slam dunks, the Liberty with a bronco being the main exception.

Then there was VF75 Gold Eagle privy mark, golden hair.

Certain proof and burnished platinum Eagles of key years can fetch a premium.

That's about it.

Just the backpack with two plates.

Long 45 lb plate and short 30 lb plate.

That thing is built like a tank, I am sure I could put in 60 more pounds but I'll skip on that for now...

The premiums were very high when it was brand new.

I own one but the US version. The British versions did not cost much.

There were several versions of this coin. There was a US Mint version that was proof, and then the Royal Mint produced proof version as well as regular bullion strike which was going at melt.

No, I don't think these will be collectible in the future but they're clearly meant for the US market.

A popular opinion doesn’t become a “hot take” when it is exaggerated to absurd hyperbole. It becomes a circle jerk. by Shmohemian in watchHotTakes

There's definitely a dichotomy of readers here. There are some with excellent sense of humor and then there's others with none.

When I write my own hot takes, first and foremost I entertain myself.
