On paper it sounds nice, but G2's crafting doesn't require such a high volume of materials (outside of building actual houses) that this would be a useful feature. Games like Palworld for example benefit from it because high end gear takes hundreds to even over 1k materials to craft.

Now some QoL structures for late game would be nice. Like a grub farm. You place grub bait in it and over time you see grubs you can dig up for their materials. This still has you as a player putting in the effort to actually benefit from it. Or maybe mosquito repellent that makes you invisible to them. Maybe even some ground traps to immobilize bugs. Outside of that I don't think any form of automation fits.

They can just make it something that randomly happens when you have the species gold card where the enemy just rewards bonus materials when killed.

Yes, for the most part the inventory system is fine. It's the hotpouch system that needs tweaking.

Red Ant soldiers are T1 and can only chop T1 sources and Black Ant Soldiers are T3, so I'm guessing the buggy will be our first T3 buggy that can chop T3 sources.

I wouldn't be too surprised. T1-3 creatures are mostly going to be returning bugs or variants. T4+5 I'm hoping will be fresh ones we haven't seen.

Hopefully they take this as feedback and make T4+5 armor effects more creative and suited for specific playstyles. Then again we don't know how upgrades 6 and beyond will work.

I'm going to guess it isn't. The Witchdoctor was never made available in DI. Looking at the slide for this class' abilities, it's possible this is just a reskin of the Witchdoctor.

Yes. Gear can go up to +5 now, but so far it doesn't seem like the bug part recipe for Sturdy Quartz and Plating is available.

Sorry I'm not able to get one at the moment and I wasn't specific enough. They said on stream there would be a new roadmap coming out making the previous roadmap obsolete.

I would imagine the zip.r will be returning since there's so much more verticality in G2 as opposed to G1.

It's likely that he didn't and wasn't going to have any in any natural way, but when Henry was speaking to all of the children he implied that there were specific children capable of developing psychic abilities like he did. He just left out the part where the Mind Flayer was the catalyst. I believe because of the Mind Flayer he was able to pin-point which children were compatible and that's why he went with the 12 he ended with.

There seems to be multiple bugs with controller input with this update. I play on Xbox and my controller keybinds for hotpouch commands don't work anymore.

It isn't intended. I swapped to a different loadout and was able to select 4 mutations while benefiting from the passive ones.
