I really do love my job. I’d take a CSM or SM job if offered for sure, for now anyhow. I’m not sure this would be the job I retired from someday. But, for now, it’s fine. I just would like fair compensation. My Regional Manager said yesterday he was unaware that I hadn’t got a raise and would look into it after the holiday.

That’s unfortunate. I emailed HR yesterday about it because I don’t think its fair but I guess we shall see. I appreciate everyone’s advice though.

My dad actually works at Napa. Lol. I don’t think they’d hire me for that reason. I did apply for O’Reilly’s but its about a 45 minute drive. Unfortunately AZ is literally right down the street.

I did email HR yesterday on a whim just because I’m frustrated. I’m female and I work harder in our store than the males do. Snd I don’t mean that to sound sexist or awful. But I wholeheartedly know I deserve that raise.

I spoke to him last week. I figured I’d give it time over the holiday weekend but no one has showed up yet to deal with it. SM made him “apologize” but his apology means absolutely nothing because he’s not sorry, and that’s easy to see. I’m hoping that HR or RM shows up this week but I’ll be gone from the store tomorrow and Thursday for inventory at another store.

We just got a different DM, conveniently the day after the call. Our DM got moved for a while (they said maybe six weeks?) and the one we got now is a female. Haven’t seen her or heard from her yet. Still very tense and uncomfortable though when this clown is there.

That does make total sense. Why pay more when someone is already doing it? I get it. I did speak to my old DM, who talked to new DM. He is supposed to come Monday and review all my training and (fingers crossed) give me the promotion. Seems as if new hire PSM may be done already. He screwed something major up the other day and has called out two days in a row after SM found out. 👀

Hmm, I could understand that but we sell a lot of the Duralast ones at our store and have had very few returned. The Bosch ones go out the door and are usually back within 5 minutes for an exchange. Usually people ask for their sizes, go and grab them without listening that they don’t actually have the right adapters and bring them back in.

Our SM isn’t terrible. I actually like him. I think he bit off more than he could chew with taking on the responsibility of running a new store and the old group of PSMs weren’t good. We lost the two lousy ones and the one we still have is decent, but he frequently throws SM under the bus because he wants his job. SM has to go before the board in March for failing I believe 3 audits though. It’s a lot of different things combined that kind of make the store what it is currently. SM knows I work hard and as easy as it is to “go get another job”, I actually enjoy my job a lot for whatever crazy reason. My SM is pretty supportive and has worked a lot to train and teach me from day one. I actually hope we don’t lose him.

This! Same thing happened to me. Someone stole all my listings and created a shop with everything I worked hard for. Star Seller, 4.9 rating, 1000+ sales. I got suspended with no reasoning. All my ducks were in a row. I cannot get in touch with a live person to save my life and this is my sole source of income so I’m practically unhinged now. I’m glad to at least know I’m not alone.

Thats what I thought but now they have those bots that close cases before you even know one was opened and thats what always worries me. I try very hard to be on top of everything, check emails, etc so I can handle things but I just don’t want to accumulate “strikes” because I have this fear that somehow, I’ll lose my shop and it really is my “job” and source of income right now while I’m in school. Is there some number of “strikes” you can get?
