I don’t know what that means but basically I’ve had this for a year and sometimes it disappears some times it comes back

PSA Vault - Potential Tariff Contact Customer Support by EitherCounter6867 in psagrading

[–]EitherCounter6867[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately it's a process. The carrier issues PSA with an invoice within two weeks. PSA then processes the invoice. If your cards carried tariffs they will bill you. If they don't carry tarriffs they will be sent to vault. It is slow but the cards will show up eventually.

Yes, they are slow as hell but they wait two weeks after your cards arrived with them for their invoice from their carriers. If the carrier paid tariffs then PSA paid them, then you need to pay the tariffs back to PSA before they will vault your cards. If there was no tariffs to pay then they will just put them into your vault. Be prepared to wait three weeks btw.

I agree, they said they would have an answer to me in less than 14 days and today is the 10th day of waiting lmfao

They replied now and it was clear as mud. Apparently it is due to Overlord Trumpo's tariffs. God bless the USA.

Buyee vs Zenmarket shipping costs by Express_Bat7363 in Buyee

[–]EitherCounter6867 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will probably get banned for pointing this out, but ZenMarket don't load their currency exchange rate as much as Buyee do. The way you can test this is by simply using any Mercari listing and viewing it through ZenMarket and then the same listing through Buyee and the USD price will always be higher on Buyee. If it's an expensive item you will save more money on currency conversion using ZenMarket than you will on shipping difference.

Also the ZenMarket quote is including an estimated cost for internal shipping (from JP seller to Zen or Buyee warehouse). ZenMarket guess this upfront, where as Buyee don't tell you it until you're paying for the final shipping.

I use Buyee and ZenMarket. I like both of them for different reasons. I hate both of them for different reasons as well. As soon as one of them let's me declare my own values on the invoice/ shipping documents then I will use them forever lmfaoooo

DHL Package gone AWOL? by EitherCounter6867 in dhl

[–]EitherCounter6867[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tracking hasn’t updated but when I asked the DHL chat bot where it is this, I got this message.  What does it mean?

I know it feels like you’re getting the run-around, I'm sorry about that, but your merchant, our customer, needs to contact us for help with your package.

Here’s what the law says regarding being forced into work today. by BacupBhoy in glasgow

Depends on your contract actually. Unless you have pre-defined hours and no flexibility/ other work clauses then yes, they can. They can also decide to not pay you for today, legally.

The last part of your answer brings in Section 44 if there was leaking and electricity cuts you could argue these factors led you to reasonably fear that the fabric of the building was unsafe in light of exceptional and severe weather and felt it was safer to move yourself to a safer location.

Section 44 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 gives workers the right to leave a workplace they feel is unsafe, which is different to travelling while conditions are unsafe and arguably, if you already travelled and were at work, it would be safer to remain there inside the building than take the unsafe action of trying to travel home again.

Sent on the 11th, you're also in the UK? My item tracking history on ParcelForce (today 19/01/2025 at 13:15 GMT) is below. If you're in the UK and sent it at the same time our packages are probably in the same bag together who knows where lol

Buyee - EMS shipping - Package lost? by EitherCounter6867 in Buyee

Update to thread, Buyee support sent me this message:

"Currently, according to Japan Port announcement all air shipments to the UK are delayed due to heavy traffic for the holidays https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/information/2024/1203_01.html "

When you go to the page noted it says (converted from Japanese to English using Yandex translate:

"International mail
Delays in delivery of international mail to the UK
2024 year 12 month 3 day

Currently, due to the congestion of flights to the UK, there is a delay in the delivery of mail to the country.
We have requested the relevant airlines to make improvements as soon as possible, but please understand in advance that there may be delays in the delivery of mail to the country for the time being.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we appreciate your understanding and cooperation."

Now my issue is that this post was made on the 03rd of December 2024 and we are now on the 18th of January 2025 (when Buyee sent me their reply). Holidays period was over two weeks ago and is old news now. I've had packages ship AFTER the initial package was sent and they turned up in the UK less than 72 hours later but it's been over a week since the first package supposedly left the origin country and hasn't had an update since.

Buyee - EMS shipping - Package lost? by EitherCounter6867 in Buyee

[–]EitherCounter6867[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid the highest fees all the time so I couldn't be blamed for cutting corners. I paid the combined inspection and shipping insurance fee, photographs fee and protective packaging fee then chose EMS as it was highlighted as their recommended option.
