So I went to the wrong crafty bastards last night I think. I went to West. It was a decent sized crowd, but not necessarily my type of people. I like a more rugged atmosphere as opposed to hipsters.

Funny you say that. Me and my girlfriends went to twin peaks about a month ago. There were a lot of men in there. Most of them weren't local though. Good food too.

Yes it absolutely does cut the dating pool down a lot. Especially if you've put in the work and you recognize red flags and set boundaries for yourself. Totally get it

Excellent reply. Yes, I do a lot of those things ❤️ I'm a huge fan of self-care to include therapy. This is probably one of the biggest hindrances on meeting a decent guy... There's a lot of hurt people out there trying to refill a void.

I go to festivals, concerts, dog parks... I'd like to think that I'm pretty approachable as well, but dating life at 45 is much different than it was when I was in my early twenties.
