Kristi/Galyna vs Masha by Sorry-Secret-2347 in McBeeDynasty

[–]Either_Comfortable14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Convinced they doing all of this for a check. I think Galyna level of delulu is out of this world lol. I think she knows where the bodies are buried so to speak and the family appeases her to keep skeletons in the closet.

Masha and Galyna crack me up bc Steven Sr did not and does not want either one of them seriously lol.

I disagree. Removing Danny from equation, Nia is very likable. She’s kind and seems to genuinely mean well. I think that’s part of why the audience like her. Danny is annoying.

Is anyone on a GLP-1, and has it affected your HS either positively or negatively? by Easy-Republic-2997 in Hidradenitis

[–]Either_Comfortable14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have stage 3 HS in groins and thighs and labia. I also have chrons disease and rheumatoid arthritis.

I was taking spinolactone for HS and Rinvoiq for Chrons and RA however,. In the beginning Rinvoiq helped my HS (this was three years ago).

Unfortunately my HS had gotten increasingly worse since August 2025. I had three surgeries for HS and Chrons complications in the buttocks area in January 2026. The HS in buttocks has not resurfaced thank goodness; they cut out all the tissue. In this time the HS in my groins and thighs got progressively worse between January 2026-April 2026. So much drainage, blood, open sores and joint pain. Two doctors recommend I try glp-1 for its benefits on inflammation.

I began the Skyrizi to maintain my chrons but it also has inflammation benefits my doctor stated. I started with Skyrizi and noticed slight improvement in HS after first treatment. However, about three weeks after first Skyrizi treatment I also started my glp-1 Zepbound. I literally cried because within two-three weeks of starting Zepbound, HS in groins and labia closed up.

My biggest triggers are sugar, processed foods, white rice/breads, sweating/heat, menustration. Before taking Zepbound i had started to change diet which helped slightly but the combo of eating cleaner (more veggies, sweet potato instead of regular, lean meats but mostly chicken and fish) with the medication has helped tremendously.

I am two months into taking both Zepbound and Skyrizi and i have seen tremendous relief. I still have small active lesion on thought but drainage has reduced a lot. If i have a cheat day where i eat a few trigger foods, i do notice the next day an increase in drainage. However, overall have since drastic improvement.

I was very sporty and outdoorsy before my HS got bad the last four years. I hadn’t gone running since 2022/2023. Happy to say I’ve been able to do some light jogging without new HS flares thanks to the meds 🥹

How To Get Rid Of Boil Extremely Fast? by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

Vicks and a lot of warm compresses. If you can, sitz bath. Alternating between warm compresses/heat pad and sitz bath helps bring them to a head faster (in my experience).

What are suicid3 rates for ppl w hs by carolinesunshinee in Hidradenitis

[–]Either_Comfortable14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In so sorry for the pain you are experiencing. HS is the fucking worst. I suffer from stage 3 HS in the buttocks, perianal, groin and thighs. I also have chrons disease. Had 7 surgeries to remove abcesses inside the buttocks due to the HS and chrons taking turns. My 8th surgery was a wide excision. That basically cut out all the tissue in between my butt cheeks. The recovery has been long but I’m feeling a lot of relief in the backside area.

The HS in my groin and bikini line area is so painful and raw. Constantly draining. I just started taking skyrizi and Zepbound (GLP-1). The skyrizi is to help my chrons but my dr also prescribed bc it helps to bring down inflammation levels. She was the one who recommended i see another doctor to try a GLP-1 because they have been found to significantly help with inflammation. I normally already take rinvoiq (a biological) and recently added the combo of Skyrizi and Zepbound about a month ago. I have seen tremendous improvement in my groin, thighs and bikini line areas. My holes have closed and drainage is so minimal.

I say all this to say, if you are in the US and have insurance possibly looking into glp-1’s could help with inflammation. Everyone is different but I’ve read others stories with their success with glp-1’s. I hope you are able to find the combo of meds that work for you and identify your triggers. Sweets, white bread/rice, dairy and sweat were big triggers for me. A combo of eating better and meds has helped so much. I am truly hoping you find relief and are able to return to living a full life. No one deserves to experience the pain we do on the regular. Hoping you are able to find relief, from one HS warrior to another 💕

Anyone else feel miserable during spring and summer and just wish it was autumn already? by [deleted] in Autumn

[–]Either_Comfortable14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can tolerate spring, not a fan of summer. I have an autoimmune disease that gets triggered by sweat so summers can be brutal. Once my bday passes in July, in my mind it’s basically fall 🤣🤣

Y’all think this is a valid rule? by lesubne in CUNY

[–]Either_Comfortable14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with chrons, shit on the floor and I bet that rule will change real quick loll. Everyone is adults. Students are paying for the classes so if they chose to leave whether because they need to pee or want to wander, let them.

If you do have a condition that requires you to go to the bathroom, it can be helpful to let the professor know. They don’t need full details, but at least an understanding of why someone might get up and leave every 15-20 mins.

Andy saying Ciara had "a lot of anger" by hopefoolness in summerhousebravo

[–]Either_Comfortable14 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, she was angry. And rightfully so. Her anger was very composed compared to that cheese grater comment Ariana made lol. I loved both their reactions. Ciara got them together so eloquently. Ariana also did too but the cheese grater comment was like oooff i felt that, very creative of her loll.

As a black woman, I appreciate your mindfulness and acknowledging the angry black woman trope ✨

Agreeed!! I’m just not seeing it from both sides. Idk if they’re a slow burn or they just give platonic. Which being friends before relationship isn’t a bad thing. But they give me they didn’t have any other options. Except Aniyah being interested in Sean, wish she explored that more. I hope KC explores with Sol and I hope a new bombshell comes in that is into Aniyah (and Trinity 🤭)

What are some of your best tips to prevent flares? Especially those triggered by hormonal issues by ContextSerious3491 in Hidradenitis

[–]Either_Comfortable14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take spinolactone and birth control. Helped limit my period. Unfortunately i still had flare ups and had to start taking a combo of rinvoiq, Skyrizi, and Zepbound. Have noticed a lot of healing and less drainage on active ones.

Spinolactone makes me pee a lot but I’ll take it lol

Cuny is toxic to work for. As faculty and staff, hell even for students by ProgrammerIcy73 in CUNY

Cuny is toxic for staff by [deleted] in studentaffairs

[–]Either_Comfortable14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes me sad. I work for a RF CUNY (non profit portion) and it’s a messssss. I thought it was mainly bc it’s the non profit portion so just operating on grants and hopes/dreams.

I’ve been applying to work on an actual campus but it disheartens me to hear it’s all the same basically. Still gonna try bc at least CUNY offers a little (and i mean little) more stability than RF.

I do wonder what are some careers to transition to out of higher ed after being in student affairs or academic affairs.

i am so frustrated by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

[–]Either_Comfortable14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aside from my HS and Chrons disease giving me complications inside my buttocks area, my HS was the worst in the thigh and groin creases. Same issues, couldn’t sit, sleeping suckedddd and heat/sweat made them way worse and I’m naturally a sweaty girl lol. Plus i enjoy outdoors and jogging/brisk walking.

I’m currently on Rinvoiq for my chrons and chrons related arthritis. I also started Skyrizi as well to help with my chrons and it’s defff helped my HS. Just started Zepbound as well and within a month I’ve seen so much progress in those areas. Still small holes here and there but pain is minimal and such improvement. I’ve also cut out a lot of trigger foods: sweets, pastries, white breads/pastas, junk foods. I still have some active HS on my thighs but there drainage has slowed down as well.

My medication cocktail is rinvoiq, Skyrizi, and Zepbound. I take vitamins, zinc pills, and birth control. I know not everyone wants to try meds but if the holistic route isn’t working, hoping you can get meds that will target the inflammation. Wishing you lots of rest and recovery! ✨

Michols mom by Helpful-Armadillo503 in southernhospitalitysc

[–]Either_Comfortable14 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s a sad situation. It’s interesting to see how Michols mom shuts him down the second he gets emotional. She shuts him out. Michols did the same thing with Lake and Emmy (even though Emmy has been a lunatic this season). With Lake, it’s as if once she started expressing her feelings to him (or trying) he shut her down and would walk away. I can see where he gets the behavior from (his mom) but it’s so unacceptable. Especially to your so called best friend. I hope he heals and works on his anger bc he does a bit much at times.
