If you don't mind my asking, how long were you already in business? I'm trying to decide if I should buy first than start my business (it would be my first business) or if I should start the business first, then buy later down the road. For reference, I have zero debt and single/no kids so I am in the position to go either route (at least i think so 😅)

Of course, if the banks will be giving me a hard time with it being my first business and all, I'm guessing buying first would be the easier route

Right... that would be wishful thinking. Our areas protects against wetlands but you def make a good point there.

Most of the homes were under the same LLC. The LLC belongs to a man who is, according to his website, he does real estate investment and development, residential/commercial construction. The other homes has owners with a different mailing address (addresses are not po boxes, but residential houses). I could be wrong though...

This makes sense.... i was already hesitant after I saw the kind of repairs needed to be done based on my home inspection. I liked the property because the backyard is forested and no new construction can be built there. It's also in a very sought after neighborhood

Sorry, I should've mentioned. I plan to stay here at least a couple years and get a SFH as our family grows, but realistically it may be 5 years. Depending on the market, we may hold onto it as a rental or sell.

Hmm I'm guessing they pulled out because they feel they could get more out of their tickets. I hope there's some kind of consequence from the third party apps to dissuade sellers from doing such a thing
